Susan Graver’s Eyeshadow - Sunday Night Show, June 30

I just turned it on, and had to ask myself what I thought about her eye color. She always looks great, but this shadow color seems to make her eyes look smaller. If you're watching, what do you think?

@beach-mom   Sorry, didn't see her. Her eye makeup has been heavier/darker the last time I did see SG.

Hi @Shanus ! I guess it had been a while since I'd seen her. I think  Beth was on the last time I tuned in. It just looked strange to me!

Shanus - I don't know how to copy screen shots, but you can see it in the video for A399642. Susan is wearing the top in black, and about halfway through you can see a quick closeup. I blew it up, and it looks a little like maroon, which I think is fine on some people.

If you can, I'd like to know what you think. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing that look on her! Thanks for answering me!  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom   Just because it's you, I watched on an enlarged screen. How long does it take to present the same tee?

Anyway, it looks like her eyes have become hooded and to compensate, she tried to recess the entire lid with a darker shadow...looks like a very dark rosey/purple and dark liner and black false lashes. Not a good look especially with dark brown eyes. I also noticed a too obvious attempt w/ a dark shade of contour to sculpt the jawline....not blended well at all.

If lids are hooded and in general, it's best to keep the lid lighter and if hooded, add a shade in the crease that's only a few shades darker than your skin and blend leaving a lighter space under the brows.

The arguement can be made that she had TV makeup, but I hope in real life it's dialed down....a lot.

I looked at the video and I like her darker makeup.  She can get away with it.  I don't see anything wrong with her if eyes are looking smaller.

I don't have bulging big eyes, but still love the shape of mine.  And since my hair is now silver with black after being a a mousy brown my entire life, I wear black shadow!

I'm not a fan of the *nude eye* tbh.  I saw a host earlier today with nude eye makeup on and it reminded me of when older men get *eye jobs*.  (Think Wayne Newton).

I want depth, I want color, I want pizzazz!

But, to each their own.Woman Happy
