QVC selling Sunday Riley skin care, who was sited by the FTC in 2019 for fake and fraudulent positive reviews and deceptive marketing tactics. Why would QVC back up this comany and it's cited owner on-air with suspect products?
The FTC found that within two years, Sunday Riley managers, including its namesake founder, posted fake reviews of products and asked its employees to do the same. However, not only did they create and sign up with fake accounts to conceal their identities, they also used “an Express VPN” — or virtual private network — in order to hide the IP addresses. (This was owing to Sephora deleting the fake reviews, probably because it noticed they were coming from the same IP address.)

@Hoping for the best Read on, we've already kicked this subject around today. Moral values, or lack thereof, in vendors has been proven to have little influence on QVC.

Gee, I am shocked! Just like back when I was impressed with all the “before” and “after” pictures of every facial product QVC sells.

I absolutely agree! This company has been OUTED! Why would QVC bring this company to customers?! Astounding.

I have always said that vendors pay QVC for giving them air time. Or at least make it highly profitable to be a featured product.
Being aired on QVC is a big deal. Why give air time to a controversial product or spokesperson?
