Unfortunately there are many women that have allowed sun damage that looks just like that and the sad part is that either they don't care or they are just plain ignorant.

Nope, we just wanted a great tan. We'll think about the damage when we're  60.  That was us! (Been there, done that. And I wasn't the only one!!!)

Yikes !!  P on the sun.  Not worth it to me. All that one political family from Boston all look old. Faces are wrinkled up like a Sha Pei dog.  Got money, but, money won't fix.

Sea and Ski did not do what we needed it to  back in the day.  While I have sun damage as far as brown spots go, I have younger looking skin for my age. I recently had a doctor say to me..."I can tell you didn't smoke by the looks of your skin". I still think a lot of it is is the genes and sooner or later we all get old! I am 73 and have spf in my foundation. I don't think it wise to never get sun but I do put on a bit more sunscreen when I'm in it....which, anymore... is not the hottest part of the day.

Got my little UV umbrella yesterday and used it leaving the Doctor's office.

I only walked to my car but it opens quite easily and shuts with the little "anchor" picture on the bottom of it.

I'm sure the real "sunbrella" company has a smoother operating umbrella but this one is cute, 17.99 and see how it works for a few weeks.

By the way the print is just like the picture I showed you all. And it does not smell.  Very slight at best.  Will give a better review after a few weeks.

I have a parasol. lolol. omg.

Re: Sun damage?

[ Edited ]

I have used the protection umbrella's along with spf but after my Vbeam treatments I purchased this UV visor full face shield for the drive in and back.  I just love it.  I only use it for this purpose and got it on sale for 18.99 last yr.  Great purchase and would recommend to anyone.

I dont think this pic is photoshopped either.  I dont think she looks bad.  The white spots on her arms are chicken pox scar's.  I have them too.  They never tan and when I do have any tan they stay white and are more pronounced.  Also, sun damage from childhood is where a lot of damage comes from.  To me her skin looks like a typical blonds to me, part freckling along with some tan.  Being Welsh and Irish I have that too.

I have not idea who she is unless it's Gwyneth Paltrow as another poster asked?

She's younger than I am. My skin doesn't look like hers & I have been swimming at the pool or beach almost daily since I was in 1st grade? I didn't use sunscreen like I should have either. When I did use it I used SPF 8 because you don't get Vit D from the sun when you wear a higher SPF. IMO we need sun it makes you feel better or it does me.

@Nightowlz

Are you extremely fair like Gwyneth Paltrow?  That makes a big difference, even if you do wear sunscreen.  I'm asking as a very fair person myself.  The more melanin in your skin, the better as far as sun damage.

@shoesnbags

I used to sunburn when I went out in the sun. Now when I'm in the sun I tan. I'm not fair more like light. I wear Eve Pearl light foundation. My arms are darker now since it's what gets sun since I have not been swimming for several years.

She posted this on her Instagram so this is not photoshopped to make her look bad.
