Hi Everyone. I was just wondering what everyone does for their summer time make-up routine? Do you switch to mineral make-up? Go to BB or CC Creams? When it starts coming really hot, what looks good on you? What last and doesn't make you look like a sweaty mess?
Thank you all & God Bless you.

Today I skipped my BB altogether. I have been using Tan Towels.
Just Gariner anti-dark circle roller, blush & eye make-up. I didn't scare anyone in the stores either! Lol!
I may try it to the office tomorrow.

Hi, ChristianGirl!
I use Prescriptives Traceless Foundation in the colder months; however, once summer hits, I use LG's Spackle followed by either LG's Balance & Brighten or Bare Escentuals. That's enough for me. I usually finish off with BE's Mineral Veil since I tend to get pretty oily in the warmer months. I just can't stand liquid make-up in the warm weather!!
I do find that it lasts all day... I assume because of the Spackle.
Hope this helps!

Also wanted to add - I use self-tanner on my face more in the warmer months, too - so I don't find the same need for liquid foundation.

I have combo/oily skin. The only change I make is to use more moisture in the winter, at night. I can't use powder/mineral foundation for all day wear. They don't control my oil & they fade within a couple of hours. I use Avalon Organics Vit C Serum & then Boscia Oil Free Daily Hydration SPF15. They keep me fairly matte. Mac Prep & Prime CC Colour Correcting SPF30 is really awesome to keep me matte, but I can only wear it occasionally or I break out from it. I have the lavender & the yellow. So, I do use it when I want more SPF. I use tarte bb tinted treatment 12 hour "primer" as my foundation. Nice coverage, but natural looking. I use a cream blush, Mac Careblend Powder & then a powder blush lightly over that. It lasts all day for me.

I can use liquid foundation in the winter and find it too moisturizing in the warmer months, Down here 9-10 months of the year with 100+ humidity most of the time. I'm back to my powder foundations.

I am retired, so don't have to look professional for the office everyday. I spend most of my time outdoors, usually weeding, mowing, walking, swimming, etc, so, I am going without any makeup this summer, unless I have to go out and about. (I would just sweat it off anyway). When I do go out, I wear minimal makeup, just mascara, brows, that's about it. I am loving it this way. Of course I still do my skincare routine every day.

I'm retired too but still wear quite a bit of product. For summer, I use the Laura Geller champagne spackle (in lieu of the LG Take-Cover foundation) and then the Balance and Brighten (fair) over that. I just ordered the LG Optics finishing powder and want to see how that will work. I still have an oily t-zone to contend with and I am in my 60's. I use blotting papers during the day.
I just put a bit of neutral eye shadow on the lids and do connecting dots under the lower lashes with liner (Trish McEvoy). No mascara, I have summer allergies. A bit of rosy blush and Bobbi Brown's Artstick with Josie Maran gloss over and I'm all set. Today was 96 degrees in No. Calif. and everything held together.
I thought Laura Geller's new veil foundation was interesting today. Will wait for the reviews. I will post a review when the LG Optics finishing powder arrives.
