I just tried Estee Lauder BB and I am really liking it

Hi & Welcome!
A surprise find for me is Philosophy's A to Z Cream. I really love this stuff and in general, most Philosophy skin and MU products do not work for me. Provides coverage without looking make-up-y. And has been just fine for my finicky skin.

MaryAnn, I live in FL and I feel your pain! I have yet to find my HG foundation - and believe me when I tell I've tried a lot of different brands, from high-end to drugstore. In the humidity down here, nothing is really sweat proof - no matter which primer and/or setting spray I use.

I thought the new Tarte 2-in-1 Foundation Concealer they have named Foundcealer looks interesting. I saw it today on QVC and it appears that QVC has an exclusive on this product for now. It may go into other Tarte retail partners later, but that could be after summer. I'm considering ordering, but I know my skintone is too dark for the Tan and too light for the Deep. Speaking of Tarte if you don't mind a powder I like Maureen's Amazonian Clay Airbrush Powder Foundation. That one I was able to use and form a true opinion of because there is a shade between Tan and Dark (Sand Tan). It wears for a long time with no touching up and feels pretty good on the skin. It doesn't look powdery either.
You may like Josie Maran's Tinted Moisturizer. It's a fav of mine and I generally do not like the texture or wear of tinted moisturizers.
I used to wear Lancome's Tint Idole FreshWear in hot weather, but I think it's being or has been discontinued
. I do not care for Bare Minerals BareSkin. There's something about the feel of it I don't care for.

I really love Laura Mercier foundation. She has several formulas, and they stay nice and true all day. I also use her loose powder over my foundation on my T-zone. I live in Tennessee. It's hot and humid here all summer, too, although probably not as hot as Louisiana. We're in the 90's this week. I've probably used LM for seven or eight years and want to stick with it.
I would definitely go to a Laura Mercier counter in a department store and have them do your make-up for you and make recommendations on what type of foundation you should be wearing. They're very good. They got me started with her line with the right products.

You probably will get so many recommendations but if I may throw in one it is L'Oreal Lumi. Normally I don't buy drugstore foundations but this is awesome! It feels very light but has a medium coverage. I have dry skin and it does not dry me out nor settle in my lines.

I live in the hot & humid south, so I can really relate to this. This year I decided to give Smashbox a try. When I'm not working, I usually just wear the BB cream without foundation. When I'm working, I wear the foundation and primer. Great coverage and it feels like I'm not wearing any makeup.

I like using IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream or Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. Then I set with a light dusting of a powdered foundation. Here, in the midwest, it can get pretty hot and humid, too.
