I first started using Lavender last spring, and have since moved onto TT and Pom mixed with a tad bit of Fig for moisture. I'm finishing up my Lav SC, but the main reason I stopped using Lav was because I found it to dry out my scalp! Made some welts on the top of my head. Once I started using Pom, it stopped (same with TT), so I'm wondering if it's the Lav. Does anyone else find that to be a problem?
So anyways, now, when I use the SC, if it goes near my scalp, I get small welts, not bad, but I don't get them on days I don't use SC. Is there something in Lavender that does that to scalps?
The thing is, I really do like the SC a lot, so I'm going to have to reorder soon -- but like the Revitalizing Mist, are they all the same, except for the scent and oils? Or would it be more like the CC, i.e. Fig being really moisturizing, etc.? My ends are a bit dry because I have to dry my hair on most days, thus the reason for the fig. I try not to use it on my scalp, since I have fine, thin hair. It's helped my ends though! ![]()
But I'd like to get rid of those welts and I'd rather not stop using the SC. Anyone have the same problem or some advice? Thanks!
