@KCDivaI used Preference years ago before my white -hard to cover-hair started. I really liked the rich deposit of color and luster.

@Boehm CollectorLooks like Excellence is winning the vote!

In addition to the brands mentioned which are goood. Recently I used VS Sasoon. It  came with a tray and brush to  use on the roots first and then use the last quarter on the ends much like the salon. It came with a gloss additive.  It took more time but better root coverage this way for the grey roots. Rich color.

@GorgfSounds great! Is this avaiIable at most stores?  don't color often, and find when I go to my local rite Aid or CVS they differ in brands or available shades from time to time. I'd like to go to a store that has the most available so I'm not running from store to store.

I'm also tryi ng to find a line which doesn't pull red/orange on white hair.

Thanks!
