I wonder if they are dragging the shows out with one item due to the lack of available products. The vendors may not have access to product availability at this time.

I dont watch much on any shopping network, If I see something that Im interested in I will watch enough to get the details and info. No way would I spend an hour on any one item. What I do at times is dvr a show that Im interested in, so I can forward thru!

This is one reason why I stopped watching the Q and other TV retailers so much. Can’t stand the repetitive programming. But...it’s rather expected for them to spend lots of time during the day on a TSV.  I mainly check online for items I might be interested in buying. I rarely watch a full show of anything anymore.

I don't watch much QVC live anymore, but the few times that I have, if the presentation goes over 15 minutes, I turn the channel. To me, it just gets too repetitive if you keep talking about a bra for over 15 minutes.....

I can understand electronics being a little longer, as there is a lot more to cover, but a Beauty TSV or Fashion TSV 15 minutes is plenty..........I can't stand when it is a whole hour of one product, after 15 minutes I am tuned out already! I don't watch those.

ShopHQ spent one hour on one "special edition" watch! I couldn't believe it! I told my husband you can watch this for one hour, but I am done! This is just too much.......

I always had the hunch that companies had a contractual agreement with the Q to present the product for X amount of air time. This would be like purchasing time for an info-mercial.

Just 2 days ago I imagined watching Q presentations WITHOUT A HOST.  Picture this:  Photos and Info and Pricing on the screen, maybe a few models, maybe a BRIEF voiceover from the Q, and featuring only the Vendors speaking and answering questions.  Get rid of the Hosts......in a perfect world.

I think it is done that way to give all viewers a chance to view that particular item. People tune in at different times of the day and night. The hosts announce hundreds of new viewers, and first time buyers all the time. It seems repetitive to me sometimes, but it makes perfect business sense.😊
