@AngelPuppy1, I thoroughly enjoy Laura Geller. She is so down to earth. No phony!!!!! Plus her "hints are great and her products are not quite as expensive as other lines. I hope she continues  to promote her line. New assistant is lovely but she as a long way to be like Laura.

@sligo- You hit the nail on the head.

Re: Sounds like Laura Geller's role in her company is slowly being minimized

I googled her.  Her name is Ashlee Glazer.  Apparently she was named Global Artistic Director in August, 2017 and the article I found said she will also serve as back-up to LG on QVC.

It says she has been a celebrity make-up artist, worked for MAC and has appeared on The Today Show, Wendy Williams and New York Live as an expert.

She also has/had a YouTube channel.

Good for her! If I had the option to take the money and run or keep showing up to work at midnight and 3am and 9am or whatever slot they needed me for, I'd be off to Australia and waving at QVC from the plane as I flew over.

I agree with you!

Regarding age of Q vendors:

Isaac M. is about 56 or so. I wouldn't alll him old.  He's still the "face" of the brand.

As for someone getting older, I think that's Judith Ripka, Louis D. and Dennis Basso. Susan Graver. Are we not all getting older.

BTW even if they are "older," they can still do this work. They're not exactly out there breaking rocks. The hours aren't easy to do, but then they have "ambassadors" and "team members."

Re: Sounds like Laura Geller's role in her company is slowly being minimized

I like Laura, she seems like a sweet soul.  I still have several of her compacts but havent ordered anything from her in awhile.

I am so glad for these ladies/men working hard and making it big but I do hate the fact these companies get sold off. I dont blame them at all but some things are never the same.  It is disappointing when you come to love a product. To this day, I still miss Christina Carlino and the original scents.  I loved amazing grace but feel the scent has changed. Her original scents is one thing I wish I stocked up on.
