Just picked up these garden sleeves for sun protection and protection from the holly leaves when I trim them.

This would work while I'm cleaning up around my rose bushes?

Those are so pretty and I could really use a pair of them!  Would you mind saying where you purchased?  I am doing a lot of yard work and I have issues with my arms.  Thanks!

@AngelPuppy1

I'd love some of those too! My palm(s) trimming, just eats up my arms!

My DH is always getting scratched up and bitten.  He should get some too, but would probably prefer a camo design.

These remind me of compression arm sleeves--I have some lymphedema in my left arm from node removal for breast cancer so that arm swells sometimes--and have seen those for that purpose--always thought it would be fun--looks like tatoos-- they are pricey tho but so many patterns. My insurance would pay for them still.

@Icegoddess   Oh my gosh!  I did not know these existed!  These sleeves will enable me to go outside at least for small bits of time without slathering on spf and waiting 15 minutes, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Re: Sorta Beauty Related

[ Edited ]

I got them on Amazon.  They have lots of different ones.  However, after reading some reviews I chose to go the more expensive route and get the $16.99/pair ones by WELLDAY.   You can get several pair for $16 but it seemed the fabric was thinner and the fit was not good.  While I might not mind sewing the top to make it tighter, I really wouldn't want to spend the time adding a gusset in especially if I'm not sure if the fabric would run if cut.

I have not tried them yet, just came yesterday, so I can't say how well they hold up against the pricklies of my hollies or your rose bushes, etc.

ETA: They have several designs to choose from but none seemed particularly manly.  Maybe the black ones that have something that looks like a dragon design on them.

You can also buy long gloves ,for wearing when cutting thorn  type bushes.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
