Somewhat of a beauty question

I'm probably stretching the "beauty" part a bit but do value the opinions of the posters here.  I would like to purchase a protein powder - I'm thinking beauty from the inside out as my justification for posting here - and wondered for those that use one, which do you like?  I can't use Vital Proteins or any with collagen.  Do any of you have one you like?

Why do you think you need a protein powder?

I like Muscle Milk. High protein, low sugar. Nice vitamin stack. Optimum Nutrition is another but higher in carbs. Pricey. You get what you pay for.

Some in Wellness like Pure Protein. No experience with them. Read labels for nutrition content.

I only use Whey products, can't do soy as it triggers my estrogen receptors and I feel like I have PMS.

Yes, but what makes you think you're not getting enough protein?  I eat a well balanced diet so I don't feel the need to add something so heavily processed to my diet.

Re: Somewhat of a beauty question

I can't do protein powders.  No matter how they're made, all of them have an aftertaste I can't handle.  Even the MilkShake brand ones which are supposed to be yummy.  I also tried one of my husband's collagen powders (not protein) and besides being awful, it also has that aftertaste.  It must be really awful because my husband agrees it's awful and he can eat/drink some awful stuff and say it's good.
