@MoJoV  Yes, groceries are a killer these days, its just my hubby and I and our dog, we don't eat red meats either and we eat the same meals over and over again, not something new each day. Where I live a can of olives is 4.00!!  Every time I go to the store I find myself putting something back because I'm just not willing to pay the high price, it usually goes on rotational sale and then I'll buy a few (if it's something that doesn't go bad right away)

@San Antonio Gal  I watch for those, but even at 30% off its way more than I'm willing to spend for a 10oz hairspray. We all know they are mass produced at most likely the same plant!

Yes the prices for the products are just to high. I get my tweaked by nature products on sale only. And the salons are too high also.

@monicakm   I am ONE PERSON.  I admit I only eat organic food, but NO MEAT.  I do eat chicken and salmon, however.  I won't bore anyone with now much I spend a week for food, but it's SKY HIGH!  Also, I take quite a few supplements and they all went UP, UP, UP!!!  

I will say, however, that I haven't been sick in many years so, on that basis, I refrain from planning any cutbacks in what I believe keeps my body going in an optimal way.

I never eat out in restaurants and cook everything from scratch (no food delivery) so that's how I rationale how much $$ I spend on food!

Just recently I took a close look at all of my subscriptions and autoships. Decided to eliminate a lot of them b/c when some go on sale I can get better deals. Save money.

Here's what I do. I type the name of the prodcut in duck duck go search engine the add the plus sign plus the word dupe. It's surprising what you can find.

I was in Sephora last week and saw the dior lipsticks are now, $50 each. I was surprised.  IDKY.  I have spent $40 on lipstick in the past, but I guess I just reached my limit.  $50 is just too much.  

groceries continue to go up, cat food, electric, everything.... I am being careful when I can.  I always do try to follow this rule-- eat what I have, use what i have, wear what I have etc. 

I hope things improve soon!!!
