I added the  Real Techniques Miracle Powder Sponge to my WM shopping list.  Thanks for the recommendation.

Re: Some Thoughts About New Makeup

@monicakm  Thank you, that's a perfect example of the issue I have.  She's using a pencil that's too waxy, it's smearing.  I have skinny pencils that are more "hairlike" than that but I'm looking for something besides a pencil, something that doesn't look flat,  I tried pomade which looks great but they all dry out in the container in 2-3 weeks.  Applying chunks of it isn't a good look.  I tried brow markers and they also dry out fast, especially if you're not doing your brow everyday (I don't).

Maybe I'll buy some brow wax and powder and experiment with that.  There's got to be something that works.

If  you're interested in wearing purples and lavenders again, Colourpop will have some drugstore priced options and for the granddaddy of them all and my personal favorite, here is Norvina Vol 5 purple palette.

@monicakm Oh those are yummy. I really like a lot of the other colors too.

Re: Some Thoughts About New Makeup

@decaf, I use clear brow gel before my brow pencil. I let it dry and then pencil in my brows. I feel like that gives my brows some dimension.

@RollTide2008  I'll definitely pick some up and try this. Trying to create "hair" in a small area where there is none is very difficult.  Thank you for the suggestion.

Sorry you didn't like the B&B.  It might not be for you.  We all have different tastes and likes.  But I agree with another poster who said maybe try again with the kabucki brush and apply as she stated, and also you might need to go up a shade.  What I did when I first got it, I bought a very light shade, because I'm really fair and I thought it made me look too washed out.  So, then I ordered the next shade up.  I applied the light shade I already had and then I lightly went over that with the next darker shade I had.  It looked so much better!

@AngelPuppy1 - I had to go up a shade from what I thought would be the right one for me.  I had bought light but didn't like how it looked so got Medium and that is the right one for me.  So surprised because I don't usually use medium foundation.

I'm going to try it again with a different application.  If I think it's too light but like the texture and look, I'll reorder in the next color up.  Thanks!
