Some Sephora Goodies Arrived Today

I'm so pleasantly surprised by both the items that I had to post.

Received the NARS Light Reflecting Foundation and I went by the shade finder on the website. Usually not real confident in those but I put in the Estee Laudre foundation shade that I use and it came up with a match. Well, whaddya know - it looks pretty spot on. Already have my makeup on for the day so had to put them both side by side on my hand and they are a really good match. Will try it out tomorrow. Just as an FYI - I use EL 3C1 Dusk and in the NARS Vallauris.

The other item was the Patrick TA contour brush and its great. Used it for bronzer and it blended it in so well. It is denser than I thought it would be so picks up product well. I used the Juvia's Place bronzer in light. At first I got too much on the brush but it still blended it in beautifully. Will use a lighter hand next time. So glad I got this brush.

Another NARS Light Reflecting convert I have it on today. Glad you like it. Saw my parents today and every time I see mom, and I'm wearing this foundation, she comments on how nice my makeup looks. Enjoy. My 2nd biggish order will be here any time now. Only new product is Dior Face and Body. The other items are repeats.

IT'S HERE. I'm surprised it's not drowned. So. Much. Rain. I'm not complaining

It's so nice .... and fun when our new makeup works out like we hope it will. You order fun items.

This morning was the first time I put on Natrium Vit C, DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer, Urban Decay primer and then my L'Oreal Tinted serum and I was so pleased w/ the results. Very smooth and no settling (so far). I like the results better than when I've used Elf Holy Hydration w/ same combo. Much smoother appearance.

Still have not figured out how to wear eye makeup w/ the Skinn 30 day eye bootcamp. It's pretty "sticky". Also ... seeing no difference and it's been 60 days of use.

@kate2357 - that L'Oreal foundation is my favorite drugstore foundation. So glad it is working so well for you. You're right, it is nice when our makeup all comes together and we like it!

This goodie wasn't from Sephora but I'm really liking it. It's Deja Brew CP 9-pan palette. I used Sweet Foam as my main color and the top middle shade on top (not too much) and inner corner. Very simple and quick which is what I needed to get out the door at 9:30AM What am I even doing up at that time, much less promising someone to have my dog to them by 10? I asked my husband yesterday when I got off the phone making the dog groomer appt, "Did I just tell someone I'd be at their shop at 10AM?" He said, "I wondered how long it would take you to figure out what you did" But dog and I are both "groomed" and that's two "to do" items off my list.

I was really looking forward to the Replica "On a Date" perfume. At first spritz, I was about to go to the Sephora website and order the full size and declare it a new holy grail perfume. Within a minute, it was smelling like "Off" Phlur's Not Your Baby is a repeat purchase. Strange fragrance. Couldn't describe for all the gold in Ft Knox. Not a favorite and never will be but there is something about that keeps drawing me in. The only thing I can say is it reminds me of a hotel I stayed at once.

I just purchased that Nars foundation for clients...not brides, though. I tried it on myself and like it, but too "glowy" for. bride photos.

For myself, I purchased the L2 (very light w/ neutral understones) and it's almost light enough. I'll mix it w/ a bit of a BB Alabaster foundation. It's a challange for sure to find shades online.

Today is a "full face" day....meeting later today and it's it's been a minute since I've had to do a "soup to nuts" look on myself.

@monicakm Pouring rain here, too AND tomorrow AND Sunday has storms with severe weather threat. Waterproof mascara here that I rarely wear, but hey...I'm bound to get "moist". Saturday is supposed to be the only good day!

@JudyL The DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer is my go to, but need to mix it w/ untinted to lighten the color. It's wonderful under makeup, too since it's moisturizing. I do have to use a bit of setting powder with that and the Nars foundation, though.

Have you been annoyed since purchasing DRMTLGY (if got it on their site) by emails and texts several times a day with deals and discounts? Drives me nuts when a company doss that!
