Soap and Glory

I just received the Soap and Glory Righteous body butter and Clean on Me shower gel from HSN. It smells like a cheap perfume. I put the body butter on my arm to see if it would smell different on my skin, but it still smells "old". Is it just me ?

I have a big jar of the body butter and I think I have used it once. Not sure why I kept it. Yes, it smells like old roses -- very, very strong scent.
