I notice on QVC so many of the brands are featuring lip serums.  I tried the one from Philosophy and  it really didn't do anything.   I see IT Cosmetics has one.  I have the one from Algenist and have only been using it a short time, but I do like it.

I think it's bull, I just returned the IT and Algenist lip serums. I like the lip scrub and lip balm from WEN.

I use two lip serums, and I love them. And one of them isn't even a lip serum.

  1. Around my lips, the whole area and on the lips themselves, I use Isomers Re-Densify 3D Volume Booster. It encourages collagen and fat production, which is really useful to keep the area plump and fairly unlined.
  2. On my lips I use and reapply several times a day Skinn Lip6x Classic serum. It moisturizes, makes my upper lip curve out more, and gives a little color to my lips, the vermillion in particular, when I use it regularly.

@Daysdee@blackhole99  ....a light scrub of the lip area w/ your regular cleanser on a washcloth and Aquafor. Serums for lips are not worth the $$$, IMO. Hype.

Watching the IT show now w/ lip serum. The B & F looks like a 15 yr. old girl w/ chapped lips. Smoke & mirrors.

Love the Skinn Lip 6 x. Plumps and smoothes the lips. I wont be without it!

I like the lip scrub by Burt's Bees.  After you apply your lips are smooth and taste like honey.

I was delighted when the original Lip 6x Serum was back on Evine a couple of months ago or so.  I keep it at my desk so I'm able to reapply whenever I think of it.  Between exfoliating and the Skinn Lip 6x Serum, my lips are in nice condition.

@Shanus...I agree 100%!  Lip serums are a waste of money, BIG money!  I go with a dab of my cleanser on a terry washcloth, gently scrub, rinse and blot dry, I also like to go with a fingertip of Aquaphor to finish up.
