So I went to the dermatologist this mornng

When I made the appointment I was asked to bring in what I was using on my skin if I had any issues. I don't but I was curious to see what she would say about my routine.

I brought in Iomers serum--Renovage, Matryxil and Vit. C, the Dream Cream and the ReVive Glycolic Peel I do twice a month.

She said Isomers' ingredients were "impressive" and that the peel was strong enough to be effective. She said I didn't need the peel I usually got from her. She removed a spot on my chest, sent it out for a biopsy. She said to continue with what I am doing and that my complexion was a very good condition. She reiterated that sunscreen was essential and sent me on my way

That's good news that she liked your regimen.

More important, I hope that the biopsy comes back negative. I had one not too long ago on my nose, of all places. It was negative. Most are.

Thank you, SuzyQ3--Right now I'm not that worried about it,--that may change later on, but for now I'm sure it will be OK.

Sending warm thoughts your way, Margo Channing, and here's to a negative result on that biopsy. My derm is also a fan of peptides in lieu of tretinoin, especially for my age group (over 60). In fact, my derm does not recommend or prescribe Retin-A to patients over 50.

Keeping positive thoughts for you Margo. Skin checks are so important.

And it's always good to get confirmation that what you are using is good stuff.

I think your derm is on to something about the retin-a. I was getting great results from the dr denese line and when she saw how nice my skin was she suggested I add the retin-a to make it even better. I swear I can't see a difference. I haven't said much about it the last couple of years, but I plan to ask her about it my next appt. I feel like I may be missing out by not using my dr denese night products on a regular basis. Why do we always want to mess with what's working??
