Let's begin by saying anyone in the market for a new liquid foundation should definitely check this one out. Smashbox once again has produced a wonderful foundation. It has a creamy--but lightweight feel that blends flawlessly into the skin. I think anyone except those who need a true full coverage foundation could be happy with this one.

The reason for this post however is to complain about QVC only offering 6 of the 10 shades. It's ridiculous for QVC to underestimate the intellect of their customers. Apparently they feel we would be too confused with ten colors to choose from. It's not offering all of the shades which confuses me{#emotions_dlg.confused1}, and upsets me a little because it's ALWAYS dark shades which are omitted at QVC. In this Halo Liquid matter my Light friends can join me in feeling excluded. Smashbox didn't even try to give the colors cute names which Q could use as an excuse. The color names on the bottle for Halo Liquid are 1,2,3 4,5,6,7,8,9,10. I think even the most inexperienced beauty consumer could understand that 1 is the lightest and 10 is the deepest.

Before I go I'd like to thank Smashbox for trying to do something I've advocated for a long time from companies who simply are not going to make 20 or more shades in their of foundation formulas such as M.A.C., Clinique, and Bobbi Brown. With Halo Liquid they have tried to make 3 shades within each range of what we usually think of as Light, Medium, and Dark with an extra one for Fair. #1 is Fair; 2-4 are Light; 5-7 are Medium, and 8-10 are Dark.
