Sleeping only on your back to help prevent wrinkles?

Is anyone able to do this?  I simply cannot do it.  I am a side sleeper for the most part.

I have heard this, too.  Makes no sense to me; either you are a back sleeper or you are not.  Not something your body will allow you to change.

I agree with Big Joanie, I am 74 have used all kind of creams, no botox but still have wrinkles.  Getting old just happens, no matter what.   I have friends that had facelifts and they still age and look kind of strange as they age.  Not in a good way.

My 95 year old aunt told me that many years ago.  Almost every night when I go to sleep I think of her then I roll over. I wish I could, it makes a ot of sence.

Wrinkles have to do with the natural skin you were given at birth, the DNA  Of course, to an extremely small degree, all combined, what you do as far as caring for your skin with creams, etc, omitting sunbathing or working in the sun help, but for the most part, it's in your DNA.

I think wearing sunscreen works to prevent wrinkles...not sleeping on your back.

I've heard that smiling or frowning is the culprit.

Just try to express no emotion at all and you will still be smooth when you're 70.

As far as the back sleeping thing, I can only fall asleep on my back when I'm really exhausted.

I try to sleep on my back, but always end up rolling over.  I must admit that I tend to sleep on my left side and that side of my face is more wrinkled.
