Skinn, and Skinn vs Sunday Riley

[ Edited ]

Has anyone compared Sunday's-Dimtri's lines-

Ingredient, effectiveness, quality, percentages, etc.

I use both. I think Sunday and Dimtri's lines are very close, but someone more knowledgable may know better.

Those who've tried Dimitri's Neck Amour products, what did you think?

Getting the TSV. I have it on AS for the same price. I'll cancel my old AS, get this and the roller for the same price.

I have 2 unopened ones. I've passed them onto my daughters, but I always keep at least one on standby because I don't want to be without it.

Not just for the face. I use it all over.

It's wonderful after damp drying out of the bath or shower, great in hair, nails, everywhere.

Love the Luminous Cream as well.

Dimitri looks great, he's very open about his injectables- said he just had his 6month Botox, so what, many people do and still use skincare...

fillers, mini lifts...and still use skincare.

He was showing his height, and the tall shoes he wears.

Dimtri looks great. Always informative, great products, and lovely to watch!

@skittles2  - I have been using the Define neck serum for a couple months now, I think.  I like it and maybe I'm imagining it but I do think I see a bit of a difference.  My current bottle is getting low so may take advantage of the duo that was on today because I'm not sure I'm ready to give up on it yet.

I have a 0.5 oz bottle of the manuka honey oil which I use only at night.  I would probably replace it when I run out.  But was thinking even though the TS is a huge bottle and would probably last me more than a year, it would still be less expensive to buy the TS than to keep buying the smaller bottles at $25.  Ugh, I knew I couldn't resist Dimitri.  LOL

@skittles2  I haven't tried anything by Sunday Riley, and never will.  I do use the Skinn Neck Amour Serum (Redensify) and the Neck Amour Cream/Mask, both on A/S, and very happy with them.

@Shelbelle and @JeanLouiseFinch  - question re how you use the Neck Armour products.  Do you use the cream just at night or both am and pm?  I'm thinking maybe I should pull it out again and give it another chance.  Was using it at night only and stopped.  I do use the defining serum both am and pm though.

@JudyL I'm using both AM and PM.  I have them on pretty nice A/S plans (serum, $35 and cream, $36.95) so they're affordable enough that I don't feel like I have to make them last.  Even so, I just use 1-1.5 pumps of the serum and maybe .75-1 tsp. of the cream per application. The serum just goes in the front (jawline, chin, and neck) but the cream goes all the way around. Sometimes, if I'm in a hurry, I'll just use the face cream du jour on my neck but it's mostly the Neck Amour.  At night, I'll add some Luminous Oil to the cream and rub my hands together before I apply.  I use that oil in many ways.

Re: Skinn, and Skinn vs Sunday Riley

I used just the serum, which is more like  a light cream during the day and the mask at night as a stand alone leave on product. I ran out and had other products in my stash to finish, but I would buy them again.

Re: Skinn, and Skinn vs Sunday Riley

I also can't trust Sunday Riley after what happened earlier with her products, but I did get one small product as part of the TILI Holiday package I got earlier, so I'll at least try it.

I'm going to say, I haven't been particularly impressed with Skinn.  I tried Neck Amour awhile back and saw no difference.  I got the 2 pk of the Define serum since I wasn't able to find Gold Bond's neck cream locally.  It's okay, but nothing to write home about and I use it AM & PM.

The manuka honey oil I really didn't care for.  It seemed a bit sticky to me.  I expect an oil to be smooth.  Maybe I'll pull it out and try again, but I don't have high hopes.

The one thing I did like was his peptide serum.  I was on AD for that along with the cream, but I ended the AD because I really only liked the serum.

Re: Skinn, and Skinn vs Sunday Riley

I stopped using Skinn a while ago. Nice products, but did nothing for me. I followed him since Parthena.

I really don't care if Sunday Riley can't be trusted. It's just business. You think others don't do the same thing? Faking reviews. How terrible. I just shrug my shoulders and keep right on using her products. I don't want to know her, I just want to use her. They're good.

Re: Skinn, and Skinn vs Sunday Riley

Hi all,

Could someone please look at these 3 Vit C creams and tell me which is most beneficial overall?

THD in Sunday's is 4th in both creams, while Dimitri's is 16th but has Manuka Honey listed next.

I know placement in the ingredient deck delegates the %-age, and 'maybe' not as beneficial.

Anyone using a THD serum and/or cream with higher % of THD, or including additional or other actives giving better benefits.

I'm not stuck on these brands, but I would want Cruelty Free.

Thanks to all who've taken their time to look at this..🌻
