Regarding the faulty pump on the Line Lift -
I emailed Skinn Cosmetics this morning about my experience - will report back when I get a reply from them.
I also just got off the phone with Evine customer service. The rep was very nice and willing to help. At first, I don't think she understood the problem, but eventually she did. She offered me a $10 credit against a future purchase to make up for the faulty pump on my current can. I was happy to accept this since I plan to purchase the PEP40 cream anyway.
I then mentioned the reviews and how many of them talk about the faulty delivery system and asked how the problem was going to be address on future shipments. She said I had 30 days to return the next shipment if it's also bad. I explained that the current pump went bad after 30 days and customers should be able to expect the pump to last as long as there is product in the can. Theoretically, that should be 60 days since that's recommended auto delivery time frame, but it could also be shorter or longer depending on how much a person uses at a time. Since I am on auto delivery, she made a notation on my account just in case the next can also goes bad. In additions, she said she was glad I called so they can bring the problem to Dimitri's attention. I have a feeling he or someone on his team reads the reviews (hope so anyway) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the problem gets addressed. In the meantime, if you've had a problem I suggest calling Evine's CS and also email Skinn so we get them to take notice.
I wonder if the contents of the product needs to remain under pressure? I don't really think so since it's still useable and working for me even though the foaminess diminished. I wonder if it's possible to get a small version of a non aerosol bottle (think WEN mousse, Beekman mousse, Bath & Body Works foaming hand soap)? I sure hope this problem gets corrected quickly. I'd like to continue with the product.
UPDATE -
Heard back from Skinn CS. They acknowledged that there's a defect in the packaging and the rep said it was their understanding that there will be a switch to a different type. I was also told that I could return my bad can of product to them for a replacement. Between Skinn's response and Evine allowing for 60 day returns on the product, I think they're both doing what they can to accomodate their customers. Since I have received the $10 credit from Evine, I will not persue either avenue, as I believe that would be double dipping.
@BExplorer - BTW - I have some extra DermAppeal, if that's all you need. Message me from the Dazzlers page if you want to work something out
@JeanLouiseFinch - thank you again for making the calls and doing the legwork-very much appreciated!
I'm impressed by the response from Skinn and Evine, but won't have a chance to make my calls until the weekend. My preference is for a replacement. If I only get 50% usage of the 2nd bottle, I'm ok with it given I got 50% from bottle#1
