Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I have found that wipes tend to dry out no matter how carefully I seal them back up. I now put packages of wipes (both opened and unopened ones) in a zip lock bag.

I like the Skinn wipes better the other wipes I tried. I wish the 4 pack special would be offered again.

@Lucky Duck  Keep your peeled.  Dimitri returns to Evine July 15 - 18 for a slew of spots, celebrating his anniversary.  It wouldn't surprise me if he brings the 4 pack back.

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I use and buy the Equate brand. I just get the first layer of face makeup off. I just use a tiny bit of coconut oil with my Purity to get my eye makeup of, so I don't have to wipe hard or tug. I've never tried the Skinn wipes, but I may have to now. Smiley Happy

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I have never had a problem with Skinn wipes. In fact I love these wipes. I use my eye makeup remover first, then Skinn wipes then my Clarisonic. I tried Beekman wipes a few months ago and hated them. Any wipe will dry out if the package doesn't close properly. Skinn does a nice job with their packaging.

@Lucky Duck, I saw a picture of his Anniversary show coming up and the wipes are included. I would bet he is including a double size.

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I have been using the It Cosmetics Bye Bye makeup as a makeup remover and liked it. I got some of the Skinn wipes on Friday and OMG I LOVE these things. I wear quite a bit of makeup and one sheet removed it all.

When I did my second cleanse there was no trace of makeup on my sponge so I know those wipes do a good job. I always had makeup on my sponge after using the Bye Bye remover.

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I first tried them with the 4 pack special and absolutely love them.  They work well except on my Benefit mascara, for which I add Neutrogena blue eye makeup remover.  Every one I've tried from the drugstore has an objectionable smell.  Bring them back, Dimitri, and I will definitely stock up.  The 4 pack, I mean.

I only had one package of the Skinn wipes but I loved them. They were such a pleasure to use, the best of the wipes I have tried so far.  They were moist and just felt soft to the skin. Just loved them. I try and not use wipes anymore, but if I did, these would be it.  I do find them a bit pricey though if there isnt special pricing.

Maybe it's my own fault for not using them right away, but I find these wipes to be dry and not removing my makeup well at all. I feel there are far better wipes in the drugstores and much cheaper. Has anyone else had a problem with them?

@Jordan2

If they are a water based makeup remover, add a couple TBSP of water and cover well.    Personally, I really like the Neutrogena wipes. and for about $6 a package, how can you go wrong?

Personally I think wipes products of any kind are a waste because they do dry out rendering them useless. They are, however, a convenient travel item to have on hand or great  if you go through enough of them before they dry out. And furthermore, even after you use a makeup wipe, you still need to cleanse afterwards. Never use a wipe alone then go to bed.Woman Happy

If every brand you've tried have done this, then the problem is how you're storing them.   I've never had makeup remover wipes dry out.
