Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

Maybe it's my own fault for not using them right away, but I find these wipes to be dry and not removing my makeup well at all. I feel there are far better wipes in the drugstores and much cheaper. Has anyone else had a problem with them?

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

My one daughter uses Vaseline to remove her eye make up.  My other daughter and I use Clinique's Creamy Eye Make Up Remover.

I've used it for many years.  I have (since forever) worn Maybelline's Waterproof mascara.  It's the only thing that takes it off with a few swipes.  I swear by it.

Vaseline is what I have always used.

The Skinn facial wipes are a little dryer (just slightly less saturated but not dried out) than other brands to begin with, but I have no problem with them.   They work fine for me and I love the scent.  I'm not relying on them to do a complete cleanse, but rather just to remove the surface makeup before I do my actual cleansing.

I know people have commented on Beekman wipes too, but I find them fine as well.  The acutal cloth is a little thinner though.

@Jordan2  I bet you can revive them with a little water.

Personally I think wipes products of any kind are a waste because they do dry out rendering them useless. They are, however, a convenient travel item to have on hand or great  if you go through enough of them before they dry out. And furthermore, even after you use a makeup wipe, you still need to cleanse afterwards. Never use a wipe alone then go to bed.Woman Happy

I actually have the opposite opinion on the Skinn wipes which I always found quite moist (which I LOVE but they are pricy unless you get the 4 pack at anniversary/Xmas time) I use neutragena and boy, is it a come down from my Skinn ones...I used Beekman too and they were dry but like @JeanLouiseFinch I use wipes only to remove the top layer of makeup/eye makeup /mascara then I do a thorough cleansing using various cleansers (Skinn olive and enzyme balm/Dr Young camellia oil/Emma Hardie/Isomers Double Duty) HTH's

I don't rely on the wipes to thouroghly clean my face. I take off my eye makeup and some of my face makeup. I then give my face a good cleansing.

Re: Skinn Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes

I use a facial wipe to remove makeup before cleansing, and have tried a number of them. Huge fan of the Skinn wipes, very effective yet gentle, nice large size, and the scent is wonderful. I find them to be moderately wet, not dry.

The Costco wipes are very wet, used to be my 'go to',  but they changed the formula - stinging feeling and some redness, not using them anymore.

I found the Beekman wipes to be very dry, not as effective.

Once I open a new package, I keep them in a sealed baggie.  Still have a few unopened Skinn packs from the 4p bonus pack. They are individually sealed, and I just opened a new pack. Still as moist as the 1st pack I opened mths ago.

I like the Skinn wipes better the other wipes I tried. I wish the 4 pack special would be offered again.
