For those of you with Rosacea and/or lots of redness, what skincare have you had success with? Bonus points if it has a more natural ingredient deck. Haven't really seen results with Paula's Choice or First Aid Beauty.

I don't have Rosacea, but I get red very easily. The Paula's Choice items I used did work well for me, especially the Redness Relief Repairing Serum.

My redness gets worse when I take a very warm shower and lasts for quite a while after I get out. I've noticed that taking a cooler shower helps quite a bit. I recently came across this blog post by a woman who does have Rosacea. She also gets super red in a hot shower and has taken to wearing moisturizing sheets masks when she's taking a longer or warmer shower than usual. Here's a link to the article: http://www.xovain.com/skin/wearing-sheet-mask-in-the-shower-rosacea

I have found cerave pm cream, squalane, and cerave cleanser have helped me. Always use fragrance free products. In th cold weather I also use argan oil. If you can find an antioxidant serum that you can tolerate it may help too.

I use Clinique balm to take off makeup and then their "Take The Day Off" cleanser. Afterwards I use their gel moisturizer. I cannot use anti-aging products and like yourself First Aid beauty...the scent alone made me ill in it.

@mistyada I should have added that I'm trying to avoid parabens. Cerave has parabens.

I use a serum called rosacalm that helps me quite a bit. I get it from my derm office or it is on Amazon. Credentials is the brand name. Rosacea , redness or just sensitive skin is SO frustrating!! Very hard for me to refrain from using too many products being the skincare junkie I am!! I am thrilled today after having a  hydro facial at the derm and having no redness or irritation. I also bought a neck cream with retinol she suggested I use on my face, since it is more gentle. Have you tried Clinique redness solutions? I was using this or Rodan/Fields Soothe. Clinique works pretty well for me.

It seems that for more serious conditions, a dermatolagist would have access to the best treatments.

Re: Skincare for Rosacea

[ Edited ]

@StillRachB,     Use Marula oil at bedtime.  It is excellent for mature skin and hydration.  High in vitamin C.  Excellent for troubled skin; redness.  It will balance your skin.  I use Acure Organics marula oil.   Cat Very Happy

I prepare a matcha green tea mask and use it a couple times a week. It reduces my redness and depuffs my eyes. It's full of antioxidants too.

@SilleeMee I'm intrigued about this mask. Tell me more.

@Katcat1 Marula breaks me out but maybe I'll try jojoba.
