@JeanLouiseFinch What is the title of the video? I can't seem to find it. Thank you.
I've always been a big believer in whatever we eat and drink shows up on our appearance. There are times when I haven't taken the time to eat a healthy diet and take my supplements, and boy does it show! It's like a before and after picture.
I've been taking collegen and hyaluronic acid with biosil for a long time now. I just added the phytocerimides.

@beautybee Let me preface it by saying it is a rather lengthy audio/video presentation that ultimately becomes a commercial for Dr. Layke and his partner to sell their version of a combo skin supplement. I have not ordered it, but I still found the information interesting.

I wonder why, then, why my sisters' skin and mine are so different from one another, since we are 100% sisters? I'm sure sun exposure has played a part in that, but the sisters don't do much of anything skincare wise and the looked older at the age I am now than I currently do.
@JeanLouiseFinch My sister and I have totally different skin... both in color, texture, etc. Our hair is different too. I used to think that if one of us did the Heredity kit it would give us the results for both of us. Not true. We each get a differnt percentage from each parent which makes each of us uniquely different.
I've been taking Andrew Lessman's vits since he first appeared on QVC around 30 years ago. I am now taking the marine collegen. I think the combination of GENES, sun, care from the outside and care from the inside are all important. I also know that stress and attitude contribute as well.

In fact, being an animal-based product, it causes more inflammation.
Do you have a source for this?
Oh, a gazillion of them.
Just Google, “does meat cause oxidative damage’.
You’ll have your choice of pages & pages & pages of resources.
Yes, but I was looking for reputable one you might know of.
You know, peer review, research data, reproducible results, that sort of thing.
Thanks anyway.

Somehow I think I could provide a 500-page dissertation,
a 3-hr PowerPoint presentation & studies from the Heaven’s Above...
and it still wouldn’t be enough.
I’ve got the reputable studies, peer reviews, research data, and
reproducible results....but all that pales in comparison to the
simple fact Cultures from around the world for Millennium
have thrived without animal products. I could ask you for the same
thing from your POV & I’m sure there’s something out there,
but the word ’reputable’ would be in question.

Supplements can really mess up your body chemistry. I won't even take vitamins.
As @Shepherd states:

We're fortunate ... the women in my family have aged well.

I am not a big fan of supplements because so many of them are excreted through bodily elimination. I swear by exercise. Have been doing than since I was 15 when no one in the world was doing that. My parents were big on fitness back in the 50's and 60's and my brother and I adopted that lifestyle. I try to eat a lot of fruit just not a big veggie eater though. I was also blessed with good genes. My Mom lived to be 95 with very few health issues until a few months before she passed. Her parents lived to be an old age also. My Dad passed when he was 82 which was just an unfortunate situation. His sisters are still alive at the age of 94 and 95. I guess we all have different thoughts about how we are aging.

I asked you for a reputable, study, juried, with reproducible data that supports the points you are making, with respect to this post.
The fact that you have deflected, trivialized, and mocked my request, without offering an answer to a simple question, surely validates my cause for question.
You have NO idea of ‘my point of view’ so your defensive posture regarding it is telling.
Of course Cultures previous have had many dietary modes, (more deflection on your part), many practiced blood sacrifice, and Cannibalism. But, I asked you for specific information about a comment of yours, not a lecture on historical eating practices.
I asked for reputable data regarding your statements, you deflect, prevaricate, and dismiss, but no relevant information is forthcoming.
I get it.
