I fractured two bones in my wrist and had to wear a cast for 6 weeks. It was taken off on Tue and my skin is all peeling I am not sure how to deal with it I am still wearing a brace and going to PT which involves a massage. The wrist is still pretty tender any suggestions thanks

I remember when one of my sons wore a leg cast for a few weeks.
His skin was pretty awful looking when the cast was removed. He kept peeling and scratching at his legs and grossing us all out for a few days.
I would just use a good moisturizer until the dry skin is gone. If it is not quite so tender, you can use one of those body scrubs or poof sponges to remove dead skin.
I hope you feel in the pink soon.

Ask PT if they have recommendations for it. They may not offer any info unless you ask.

When I broke my wrist and had a cast removed I used a dry washcloth and tried to get off as much dead skin as I could. Then I used a gentle body scrub and lots of moisturizer.

I have a liquid hand sanitizer which seems to be working.

@I am still oxox I am not sure I'd use hand sanitizer on your dry skin as they are normally high in alcohol content which is also drying. Perhaps your PT, nurse or doctor can best advise.

Lotion would be a better choice than hand sanitizer.
