@LTT1 Absolutely! It looks so creamy and moisturizing and fancy! Major smart shopper points for using the Ulta rewards- did you get to stack them with their $3.50 coupon too? I love Ulta rewards- I save them up and then buy a can of fancy hair spray or Benefit blush! Smiley Happy  Sephora needs to do what Ulta does- step up the reward points/coupons! Ulta sends me $5 or $10 coupons in their magazines in the mail and I didn't even have to jump through hoops to get them whereas Sephora sends me a tiny 10% coupon every leap year or solar eclipse! Smiley WinkSmiley Very Happy

Sephora's trash rewards program drove me to stop buying from them two years ago. I was rouge three years in a row. Now I just go to the vendor's site. There's a lot of Sephora anger on the sub reddits.

I heart belongs to Sephora. I don't shop there for the perks though.

@MalibuFox  Ulta is great! I like their points system, the huge selection of drugstore products and their generous coupons and discounts on items.  Nordys is fun too- I still remember when I purchased an Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette there and how fancy it looked under the overhead lighting! Smiley Very Happy

The non-colored end (which is why I purchased) is a balm.  But unfortunately I cannot take the perfumed scent.

So it's going back to Ulta.😔

@Squirrels Are Trash  I haven't shopped in store at Sephora since 2019 and I've purchased makeup on their Sephora website only once since 2019.  What made me stop? An incredibly rude sales associate approached me when I was admiring my beautiful face in the mirror and she said, "Sweetie, you're going to have to work on your skin problems underneath the foundation instead of trying to cover it up!" Smiley Surprised That one remark made me cry as I walked out of the store and I reported it to the manager the next day and said that that associate needs sensitivity training.

Do I hold a grudge? Yes- and now my skin is absolutely lovely!  I was a beautiful girl with some acne breakouts 5 years ago and I'm a beautiful girl now with clear skin. I will never walk into a Sephora again and Walgreens and Ulta will continue to reign supreme in customer service online and in store and they're getting the bulk of my makeup purchases.  Just the other day I got 2 Maybelline mascaras, two  L'oreal mascaras, two Neutrogena eyeliners and two Neutrogena lip products at Walgreens by way of stacking coupons on top of BOGO sales for under $50. The deals can't be beat if I use my coupon skills and ! stack them with sales and rewards points at Walgreens and Ulta Smiley Very HappyHeart.

How awful! I hope the beauty associate was reprimanded! I'm glad you came to that realization regarding your beauty! I used to get facials at a certian salon and get mean feedback. And, of course, they expected huge tips and return appointments. It took me a bit to work out they were trying to make more business for themselves. However, they should have been nicer.

@Squirrels Are Trash  It really was awful of the sales associate to say that to me and I can still remember the catty tone of her voice and how she laughed.  I hope that she was repimanded too.  Thank you for your kind words Heart  I loved myself with some acne and I love myself with clear skin now- even if I get a break out or two, I don't stress about it since its just my face doing its thing.   I'm sorry about your facial experience, I bet you have beautiful skin and a beautiful face Smiley HappyHeart!  I also have had  some catty facialists who've tried to upsell products or sevices by creating insecurities. I once spent over $100 on skincare products after a facial because I felt so pressured and uneasy.

The worst are times I've gone into salons to get my eyebrows threaded- the women will laugh and say, "Don't you want more feminine brows? Do you want to remove your mustache?" I don't even have a mustache- sure, maybe a little catfish whisker here or there that I pluck once in a while- but these girls would laugh and suggest it in a loud voice in a packed salon.  I had enough and declared,  "No thank you, I love my mustache!" Smiley Very Happy  And that was the last time I paid anyone to do my bold and bushy Brooke Shields brows- now I do them at home for free and I tip myself a candy bar! Smiley HappyHeart

Darn.  I'm sorry. Is this the first makeup "balm" you've used?  If you just discovered how much you like it, perhaps you can find another balm product.  I love fragrance in my makeup and skincare.

Thanks! I will continue to look for a balm (hopefully unscented)…

I'm just a weirdo!
