I have to jump on the SKINN bandwagon too. I'm 46 and I've been using SKINN exclusively for 13 months and it works, it really works and it noticeable. I tried a Collegenisis kit last year and then went for the "non-negotiables" as Dimitri calls them and I follow the protocal morning and night. Thumbs up from me!

Paula's Choice has made a huge difference in my skin. Always had oily skin and large pores on my nose. BHA 2% has helped so much. Also use her Vitamin C and Serum with Retinol. Am also pleased with her new 1% Retinol, just use as directed, until your skin becomes adjusted. Her 10% AHA Body Lotion has made my elbows, knees and heels a lot smother. Going to stick with Paul, certainly working for me.

For me it is Paula's Choice - it made a major difference in my skin. My large pores - greatly reduced. Blemishes - I don't get them any more. Blackheads? Gone. Crow's feet - gone. Skin radiant? Yes. Do I have "makeup optional" skin - yes.

I am 43 and I had oily combo skin since I was 12. Nothing else has worked as well for me and many products were irritating my skin and I didn't realize it. I thought that I would just have bad skin. So I got amazing results from this line and I have found it to be by far the most effective skin care I have used.

Which of Paula's products are you using? Your results sound great. Smiley Happy

Here they are in order:

Cleanser: Cerave Foaming Cleanser am & pm

Toner: PC Skin Balancing Toner am & pm

Exfoliator: PC 2% BHA Liquid am & pm (except when other exfoliators used)

Serum: Skin Balancing Serum + 3 drops of Vitamin C serum am & pm

AM Moisturizer: Resist Super Light Daily Defense 30

PM Moisturizer: Skin Balancing Moisturizing Gel

________________________________________________

I started with the routine above and added the 10% AHA last month & added the 4% BHA this month.

1x per week I use the 10% AHA Weekly Exfoliator (its glycolic acid use instead of BHA 2%)

1x-2x per week 4% BHA Foam (instead of BHA 2% liquid)

___________

Before this I had large pores that were clogged in my T zone and I was getting cystic type breakouts each month on my cheeks (hormonal). The red marks would last for months. I still have some orange peel texture on my cheekbones, but in the center of my face the pores are clear and the size is very reduced. The 4% BHA seems to really help shrink the cheek texture. The BHA also really helped with aging effects - so did the vitamin C.

I got samples from PC of everything (except the cerave - got that at the drugstore) and tried the routine for 2 weeks. During that time I completely stopped using my current skin care (philospophy, neutrogena and PTR).

I got much better results with PC than I have with any other skincare.

It's wonderful that you found products that are making such a big difference. I'm older than you and have different skin concerns, but I also am very happy with the PC routine I use.

I still like reading posts and threads about different lines, but to be honest, I'm not even tempted to change what works for me and what I trust for my sensitive skin. This company strikes all the right notes in terms of what I want in skin care, and I see no need at this point to try this or that.

Combo of ALGENIST & JOSIE MARAN & PHILOSOPHY --- somehow I've landed on the Right products for certain steps and my 69 yr old skin looks better than when in my 50's. No lines or wrinkles or spots --- I couldn't be happier. The Argan Oil has made a HUGE difference BTW.

I don't know if it's so much about brand but rather being faithful to cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and sunscreen. I've been all over the place over many years with my skincare items and brands, but have stuck to those four basics and I'm very happy with my complexion.

I like more products than I will take the time to list. At the moment a few of my top favs are: for cleansing-- Philosophy. I use their family of cleansers-- original Purity, Purity Foaming Gel, Purity Oil, and Micro-Delivery Wash. Micro-Delivery Wash is also my exfoliator. For hydration I like oils. Argan is a favorite, but I'll experiment with others. Right now I'm digging Shea Terra's Argan with RoseHips blend. Other products I really like are Olivella's Nourishing Face Cream and Shea Terra's Kigelia Licorice Cream. Ole Henriksen's Ultimate Firming Eye Gel is my go to eye treatment. I also like Borghese's Advanced Spa Lift for Eyes because it's light texture works well for day. Favorite sunscreen for face is Neutrogena's Clear Face SPF 30. My skin is easily irritated by SPF, that's why I try to avoid it in my makeup (unless it's low number). ClearFace is one of the few which doesn't bother my skin. I use Neutrogena's Beach SPF 55 for exposed parts of my body.

Overall, Paula's Choice. It pretty much defines what I consider good skin care. I do, however, supplement it with a couple NCN serums and Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk.

Similar here too- The majority of my skincare is Paula's choice and NCN products and they have taken my skin to the next level. Have used some of PC's products for several years and NCN for a few years now and no plans to change.

My mom (in her 60's) recently changed over to PC and NCN from a high end brand she bought at Nordstroms and she is VERY happy as well- she saves beaucoup money AND has seen positive changes to her skin (more luminosity and faded a few age spots). Based on her results and mine, a few of my friends have switched as well. Every one is very happy. Not everything is a love but when they find the ones that are a good fit for them, they are very happy.

Which brightening product did your mom wind up liking and having success with?

Another vote for Paula's Choice. My skin is so much better since I started using her products.

I have sun damaged combination skin and am 29 with adult acne. I have found that sticking to a single brand for my entire regimen does not work. As an esthetician, I have tried many high end professional products as well as cheaper alternatives. These are my favorites: Cleansing - Clarisonic w/Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser; Acne - Finacea Gel (rx from dermatologist); Moisture - Josie Maran Argan Oil and Argan Oil Light; Hyperpigmentation & Sunblock - Pharmagel Derma Fade w/SPF 35; Oil Control - Mary Kay Oil Mattifier; Eyes - Mary Kay Timewise Firming Eye Cream; Eyelashes - Mary Kay Lash & Brow Building Serum; Scrub - Mary Kay Timewise Microdermabrasion; Mask - Farmhouse Fresh Splendid Dirt Pumpkin Puree
