Similar products to Mally's Face Defender?

I still have an old face defender.  I haven't tried a new one since her company changed over, so I can't say how it would work for me.  I feel like this product is unique and I haven't seen any dupes for it anywhere.  Has anyone else found a similar product?

I tried the Covergirl Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier, and I feel it was pretty close to a dupe for the Mally Face Defender. I think it is like $12.

I remember that Dimitri James (Skinn, on Evine) had a similar product.

@2blonde- yes, he does.  It's call Plasma Flawless Finish.  It's not always on the Evine site, but can probably be ordered via his Skinn site or maybe found on eBay.

@JeanLouiseFinch @Stargazer77@2blonde this is what I use for now.  I Don't use it everyday so it lasts forever.  Watch for kits when he is on Evine or eBay.  If you get it at Evine you can return it but not eBay.

Hi, I 2nd Dimitri's product suggestions,  I really like it, and it does last forever.

Last summer I tried ELF's pink primer cream/serum.  It works the same for me, I tend to reach for it more. It's an airless pump. I barely touch the pump, you only need a whisper on your fingertip, or use any amount, where needed.

It blurs pores, moisturizes, and a great eye cream-serum while smoothing crinkles,  and works on lines everywhere- around mouth, nose to mouth, everywhere.

and...the price is pretty low. lasts forever too..

I found the CoverGirl version to be too wet and my makeup stuck to the sponge. The product in the pan became a gooey mess. It was awful. Revlon makes one, but I haven't tried it. (I still have one of Mally's original left.)

Laura Geller makes a Matte Maker that seems very similar as well. Right now she has a special where you get 2 for around 35.00.........I have only used Mally's and Skinn's and I prefer Mally's to Skinn's.......

I have tried the Mally and Skinn version and have bought both more than once.  I really like the Mally product more.  Just got a new one recently.  I never liked the Laura Geller primer in the bottle.  I didn't think it smoothed anything out and that it was kind of glittery.  I used it up on my legs but I did not like it on my face.

This used to be my HG product. Then I tried it after Mally's company was sold and it didn't seem to work so well. Now I use Benefit's Dr. Feelgood Mattifying Balm. It works for me! Smiley Happy
