Look at this beautiful silk pillowcase I stumbled across 

on Amazon.  I've never seen a printed silk pillowcase.

It's pretty, but can silk pillow cases be laundered?

I sure hope so!  Yes, I've had silk pillow cases for a few years.  They have to be hand washed in cold/luke warm water.

@monicakm    I purchased an imitation silk from Nordstrom for $20 and still have not used it.  The regular silk pillowcases are $80 which I am not willing to pay.  Once I use this one, I review it.  Enjoy your new pillcase.  Very pretty.

I don't know anything about imitation silk but I do know a real silk pillowcase doesn't need to cost $80. The ones I have are 100% mulberry silk and so is this one.

I have a 100% mulberry silk pillowcase (GILI, purchased on clearance a few years ago).

I machine wash & dry it every week. Loks like new.
