Short Hair Ladies ~~ I got the "Jennifer Lawrence" haircut!

And, so far, I loooooove it!!!! ${#emotions_dlg.tt1}$ OK, I'm in my 60's and was doubtful that this look would work on an old gal, but it does. It's so easy to take care of - hair just falls into place.

There was a short hair discussion on this board last week and some were debating whether to go short or not -- I'm here to say give it a try. If you don't like it, it will grow.

So happy you love your new cut! (I had to look up who this person was.) It is really cute. I don't know if I could go that short, but one time in my life, I would like to try.

You can do different things with it, too, bangs down, off to the side, back....rolled for more curl...

I would love that haircut! But I'm 77 with grey hair - doubt that it would look good. Besides, I have that huge cowlick split in the back that gives me fits and I'm sure would not behave!

Good for you! It's nice to have a change. I cut mine into a short inverted bob a few months ago, and I still get compliments on it. I do sometimes miss being able to throw it into a pony tail, but the short hair really does suit me :-)

Did the same cut but modified for me, love it and glad I did it lots of compliment.

Gonnab....age doesn't matter it's what you want that matters and remember the nice thing about hair it always grows.

gonnab ~~ never fear! I'm 64 with totally gray hair. My cut is also modified slightly because I wanted it about an inch longer on the back of my neck.

What's funny.... I told my stylist that I wanted the Jennifer Lawrence haircut - she looked at me, smiled, and said, "do you now how many ladies have told me that just this week?" ${#emotions_dlg.biggrin}$

Good for you, tototwo! I'm 60 and have been wearing a variation of this haircut for a few years now and I love it. I have naturally curly hair that is very thick and dense, and it requires almost daily blow-drying and flat ironing, but to me, it is so worth it. My hair is also salt and pepper and a little on the coarse side, but it still works. Enjoy your new 'do!

gonnab, I am a young 77 and have a very short pixie. After 24 years of coloring my hair, I and going gray. I love short hair. I too, have cowlicks which drive me nuts, but if you have a good hairdresser she should be able to help with that problem. I do use styling products which help.
