I’m looking for a sheer “veil” nail polish. I use seche. Base coat and if I apply one to two shades of “ballet slippers “ it’s streaky. If I go three coats it’s too opaque. When I look at paler shades they are too white. I would like a sheer pink or peach/pink color. Any advice is appreciated.

Londontown makes their 'Nail Veils' in several sheer colors. Long-wearing, dries fast and super shiny.

I use 2 coats of Essie Sugar Daddy and it is not streaky.  It could be your technique.  I also use a base coat and top coat, wait until each coat is dry before applying the next.

Five minutes is the minimum time to wait.  Ten is better.  I know it takes time but the results are good.

Londontown is the best nail polish I ever tried, including Chanel. I would also change the base coat, it might be causing your problem.

That’s interesting because my beloved Chanel mail polish was “ballerina “ it to was streaky and decided on essie “ballet slippers “. I want something like these two shades but not streaking. Olive and June has a set in sheer colors but not sure of the quality.

Londontown Nail Veil!  It is the best I've found.  No streaks ever - one coat or two, top coat (really nice shine!) or not - it's the best and dries very quickly!!

@Allthingsgirly67

I agree with @SilleeMee's Londontowns Veil suggestion. Also I just searched Londontownusa dot com site for pink sheer polish and 8 options loaded. In addition to dozens and dozens  to hundreds of reviews plus plenty of pics also. Londontown is known for their vast selection of sheer polish. Very superior products that are extremely well received.

Also there's an event 25% sale now with the code inbedded in product description.

I use the multiple layers of base and color similar to you. I found that if I do the base and one layer of color on one day then follow it with a layer of color the next dayor the day after then I don't get the streaking. I usually don't put the top layer on or if I do it's two days after the second layer of color.
