Sheer Splendor Shampoo & Conditioner

Just curious if anyone uses this and has positive results? I have read fantastic reviews about the conditioner but not so good reviews for the shampoo...does not lather, etc. I am 61 yo with shoulder length hair. My hairdresser says my hair is thin but everyone comments on how thick my hair looks? I do not color treat....YET! Lately my hair looks so dry and has lost all its shine. I'm on quite a bit of meds which I'm sure has a lot to do with this but I sure would like the shine back. I only wash my hair once a week because it looks so dry!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
