Yes, I'm well versed in the art of being influenced. I would have done more Googling and YTing if it was a $40 powder. Not all YTers are gifted the product they're discussing tho. Most will either tell you, indicate it in the title or like James Welsh, have a set of icons that indicate if a product was purchased, gifted or it's an ad(??). Something like that. I'm happy with probably 95% of everything I've bought and if I don't like it or it causes a skin problem, it goes back. There have been two very emollient products that I had to return. One was a Bobbie Brown moisturizer/primer. I've got that new Rose Inc Serum foundation in my Sephora cart waiting on their Spring sale so I can get it for 20% off.

I didn't know she had a line of lipsticks. I've only watched 2 of her videos. I haven't subscribed yet but I may. Are you subscribed to her YT channel?

@monicakm she has a line of lipsticks, lipliner, eyeshadows and brushes. I expect it won't be long before she comes out with face products.

I've never heard of her until today @Texasmouse . She also doesn't have a large following on YT.

I've heard of her and have seen her (but not watched her) on YT for a year maybe? I don't do FB. I thought I heard FB was going away? Or changing names?

@San Antonio Gal she's in Austin, Texas and shes's a former makeup artist and MAC trainer. Her company is called BK Beauty. Her company made a set of makeup brushes for Angie of Hot&Flashy to sell also.

I had no idea she was in Tx. Nor did I know she was the owner of BK Beauty. I did know she was once a MAC makeup artist. Austin seems to be a hotspot for makeup YTers.

@monicakm - I meant to say You Tube - not FB. She has a small following on You Tube. That's why I was surprised she's got her own makeup line.

I like Lisa J a lot. I own some of her BK Beauty brushes and they're great. I believe brushes are very important and I own a decent amount of high end brushes. I reach for some of hers every time I do my makeup. The brushes from her Angie collab are really nice too, especially if you have hooded eyes. I didn't think I'd like them as much as I do because I have a lot of really nice eye shadow brushes, but a couple of them I use every day. I don't wear lipstick or I would've probably tried one of her lippies.

She donates some of her profits from every sale and I think she is very genuine. She is a positive person, but I've seen her give many critical reviews so I don't think she's just blowing smoke like some. She's one of the few You Tubers that I like to watch even if she's talking about something I'm not really interested in because I like her personality.

I'm curious to hear other's opinions of the PF powder. I have a few high end powders that I recently bought so I don't need anything, but I'm always interested in drugstore alternatives. I own the No. 7 powder and have hit pan. It's the best drug store powder I've ever used. It's especially great to set undereye concealer.
