Does anyone have any reviews to share about the various "Shave Clubs" out there?  They send replacment razor blades to you monthly (or a few times a year).

Some are for men few are for women.

I shave my legs a lot - year round and I was wondering about these clubs.  Or even for a gift for hard to shop for men.

Harry's is an example of such club.

I don't have experience with this but I know several men who have done it and all were really happy with it. They all did dollar shave club and they especially mentioned the shaving butter that came with it too. They really liked that.

Love the Dollar Shave club we get it every other month, and they are great one time our shipment was lost, they replaced it pronto and gave me a free month- they are great! I used to be reluctant too, using only those fancy womans razors, give it a try.

You can probably get drug-store razors to last longer by buying men's.  They're made for coarser hair.  I was tipped off to this once by an associate at Rite Aide.  Shave clubs sound interesting but I doubt they're economical for most people.

Do they save you money though? I can't believe what the good razors cost! Hubby can't use the store brands...

This set is currently $8.00 at Dollar Shave Club. I am thinking about ordering. I have not used a shave club and was surprised hubby and sons were not interested.

I've used both Harry's and Dollar Shave Club. I much prefer the blades from Dollar Shave Club, and I agree with those who love the Shave Butter. I apply the butter to dry skin, get the blade really hot, and the blade just glides through my very thick, tough whiskers.

I have to agree the store brand razors can be AWFUL and the better ones (store brand) are still pricey.  The shave clubs may be a good deal.

A razor is a razor whether it is pink or black......Men's razors are designed for coarse hair, and daily shaving, so their blades keep their edge longer.  Women's just don't have those features/technology to do that.  Save yourself money, and get the men's razors from dollar shave club.  If you want it a girly color, then just get paint markers and make it girly or take the money you save and buy yourself something girly!
