Sharper Image vs Dyson Hair Wrap Tool

Yesterday I watched a presentation of the Sharper Image hair dryer & wrap tool kit.  Basically, it appeared to be exactly the same as the Dyson hair kit. It had various brush attachments, curling barrel etc. They also claimed to have the same heat safe features, taking temp of hair every millisecond, 3 speeds with a cool shot button etc. Consequently, it was marked down to $289. Just wondering if anyone has used this tool...OR if you own the Dyson is it worth the price? Are these hair dryer & wrap tools really as quick to use as they say? I'd love to own one but so far cannot justify the price to how much time it's gonna save me & style it's gonna give me.

Can't answer that, but HSN has the Shark Flex Style version for $249 Black Friday price and free shipping.

Re: Sharper Image vs Dyson Hair Wrap Tool

Thanks for the information, I'll definitely check it out too.  Honestly, I know I don't need this much of a hair tool because I'm home all day & normally just pull my hair back. My hair is long and occasionally I do like to give it the beach wave style or more lift in the crown. Its just harder for me to style myself these days due to some health issues. That's why I was wondering how easy & quick they really are. However, back in the day I would've certainly had this on my wishlist for Christmas!

I don't have the length of hair any of those hair appliances would work on--mine is very short and spiky so would never spend hundreds of $$ on them, altho I am sure I have that much invested in curling irons, curling brushes, dryers , flat irons.

@cheriere I just saw that QVC has the Sharper Image Revel 6-in-1 Multi-Styler for $188.98.  No idea how long that deal will last.

@Icegoddess  Yes, I went back and watched the presentation again. That's also nearly $100 less than when they first presented it! It appears to work exactly like the Dyson tool...but it's still a lot of money to spend on a hair styler. If it really is that easy to use and would save time, it would be worth it to me. I struggle with styling. By the time I get my hair dry, I'm usually too tired to give it a good style. I usually just run a flat iron through it really quick. I do prefer the soft wave style though. When I get my hair colored I always have my stylist fix it that way.

@cheriere It's actually very similar to the Shark Flexstyle hair dryer & styling system.  The dryer looks almost the same to me and I purchased one last summer from HSN when it was a TS.  It came with several attachments for styling.
