Botox isn't the enemy here. If anything, let's assign blame to the society that pushes youth and anti-aging, as if aging is a bad thing. I know I've bought into it myself and purchase certain products because of it. If we're being truthful (me included), there's no such thing as anti-aging. If we're breathing, we're aging. The only other alternative is death. I doubt I'd ever get Botox, I'm too cheap, but aside from cosmetic uses it is used to medically treat certain things.

I started a thread here about 2 months ago. There is now a 6 month botox injections available. No, it is not a filler and I never really needed it as I have had laser's and so did not have these wrinkles in the forehead ever. Really nothing, a one side "11" with a few forehead wrinkles in the past year or so.
however I knew it would lift my lids done correctly and it did. Yay! I'm so happy as it is an eyelift gentle let's say but will last longer with the new 6 month which only lasted 3 months before.
By the time you pay for these expensive eye creams which do absolutely nothing a one and done painless injection could give you a lift.
To each his own of course and mainly what you can afford but don't be afraid of botox if you can handle the cost.

@Shanus Hi. your response sounds pretty strange I must say.
I think you are here in the beauty business making up people, etc correct for a living?
I'm just curious why you cut down injectables when I think you once posted you wanted to learn it yourself a few years ago. Am I correct? I think you even had it a long time ago once by a PS you knew.
Beauty is beauty no matter how you achieve it, plain makeup or help with something stronger. I disagree with you.
Stay pretty all.

Do you get the full six months? I would be interested if it lasted. I get Xeomin because Botox doesn't last long at all on me. My esthetician said she rarely uses Botox anymore because this often happens to her clients.

@SilleeMee Hey! I just wanted to let you know I'm having 2nd CO2 laser peel tomorrow. I'm ready and think he will pump up the volume, haha. I will let you know the burn tomorrow afternoon. I'm ready.

@MG Chris No, I got the brand new 6 month botox only 2 months ago. He was one of the first to get it. I will keep you posted about it as I progress.
I am like you. Everyone's metabolism is different. Some last a very long time with them and some shorter than expected and I'm the latter. I'm an ectomorph (lean, tall body) and my metabolism runs very fast. I'm not sure about yours but I suspect it is as well. It's a bummer though. But since I moved I found a new PS and he has a filler from Switzerland. OMG - it lasts! I forgot what it is but you can look it up or I will later. it's RHA? He uses it all over for the face for everything. Not juvederm for this ands restalyne for that. All I can say it lasts.
He is a PS that believes and actually does stem cell treatment in his practice. A brilliant man.
I have not heard of the filler you mention but some down here in Florida do use another one as well but it's not that one. I will keep it in mind as I watch this one.
Again, my eye lids really lifted though, moreso than the traditional botox.
