Re: Serious SkinCare Micro Needling Kit??

Microneedling is generally safe when you have rosacea, but it's not the best treatment for rosacea. There’s a different issue of skin healing where rosacea falls into the spectrum of an oil gland dysfunction syndrome. You have to be careful because microneedling can have a negative impact in healing after resurfacing.

Thank you for the replies ladies....I am just not sure micro needling is for me....now understanding that you need to replace them every 3mo's plus the idea I could do something wrong and cause my skin to break out makes me hesitate due to my rosacea.  Just not sure it would help me....many things with this disease just don't work well together.

I'm watching it right now. They brought more in stock, fyi. They've  sold over 1,000 in the last 15 min. I guess people like it. I'm going to wait and look at other brands.

Re: Serious SkinCare Micro Needling Kit??

I'm kinda kicking myself.  I ordered Thursday night w/o doing my research first.  Early Friday AM, I started looking around on Amazon.  They have similar kits for far less money.  I know I'll have to eat the shipping, but it'll still be worth it to send the SSC kit back and order from Amazon.  I need to take some notes from the microneedlers here, so I make sure to get the right size.

I feel that I would not do this on my own. Read too many things that can go wrong!  Even Walmart sells a micro needle!

@JeanLouiseFinch  Keep it! you have to replace the blades anyway, so just keep it in your "rotation" I bought the cheapie ones on Amazon, and use them, but I purchased this one too, you get 5 blades so it comes out to about $10 per..that isnt bad.. hang on to it, it also has the small one for the eyes, which I, personally think will be good...

That same set (or very similar) is all over the place at Amazon. Serious Skincare buys these things from Alibaba and has their name silk-screened on the handle.

Derma Roller Ice Roller 6 in 1 Kit .25mm Titanium Microneedles, Ice Roller Dermaroller for Face and Body, 12/300/ 720 Titanium Micro Needle Ice Roller Massager Pain Relief

On Amazon for $19.99

There are many others just do a search.

You get 4, not 5, microneedle devices with the kit. The fifth item is a silicone cleansing brush.
