Itsme: I've used both the glycolic gommage and dermappeal. Same end results but I believe the serious product has less known irritants although admittedly neither gave me any problems.

Thanks Andreatoo! I'll order this one when my Dermappeal gets low.

the gommage is in the collection they're selling for 20 bucks if you want to try it first (along with a few other items)

I wish the A cream didn't have petrolatum in it. That and mineral oil really clog up my pores.

I'm lucky these ingredients don't clog my pores and actually work quite well for me with my dry skin.

Besides the clogging aspects- they're each cheap fillers that you can find in drug store products. I think we all deserve better!

I use all drugstore products on my skin and can't get them this cheaply. My skin is fantastic and looks much better with what I'm using now then it did when I paid a lot of money for my skincare items I was buying from the dept. store or shopping channels.

I think i am over SSC. I think SKINN Trumps it. Plus Dimitri knows what he is talking about !

Dimitri is an esthetician... and has been in the industry forever... This ACTRESS selling her SS line is nothing more than that. She reads off of cards.

You couldn't be more wrong. Look into something before making ignorant statements.

I looked it up. She has no training in skin care. She is Sylvester Stallone's wife and used to be a model. Apparently, gazelle77 isn't that off base. Do you have different information?

SSC can be very sneaky. the give you a few good actives then add in chemicals and fillers.

Yes, Jen was a model, with bad skin. She discovered Lesa Stock, esthitician and she line of products which helped her skin. She then joined forces with Lesa and daughter Cecilia, and brought the line to HSN. It originally started with a 4 piece acne kit.

Re: Serious Skin Care TSV 7/10

I like SSC products, and do like the Glycolic Gommage.

I don't think Jennifer claims to be anyone that she's not, she's a former model who is now the spokesperson for SSC after starting off with the Glycolic cleanser. Cecilia (CeCe) is the one that is an esthetician or derm or something like that, I think she has her own office but I don't know for sure. But she's the one that demonstrates and explains the products in more detail.

If Skinn products were sold at HSN instead of ShopHQ, and they didn't murder you with shipping charges, I might give that line a try.

I'll take a look. Thanks!

Where is that $20 collection? The only thing I see a gommage sample with is Replicate & Renew Advance (a product that is far from 'improved' with the advance formula!).

I found it now... item 355-982. Pretty nice collection !!

Oooh- I just remembered!! My bff gave me a generous gift of SKINN items. I need to check if his derma peel was included!

Yes- I have SKINN's derma peel!! Didn't try it yet since last night I rediscovered c extreme results after writing about it here. Wow, that is one amazing product. My skin is glowing today!

I remember trying a sample of gommage and the results felt very similar to c extreme, can anyone comment on their experiences with gommage vs c extreme?
