I thought you were going to say you wondered if people in the airplane overhead, during an earthquake, could feel the earthquake

🤣🤣🤣

@monicakm  You made me laugh out loud Smiley LOL! You are correct, people in the airplane can't feel the earthquake, unless someone in the cramped  seat behind them has restless legs! On a side note- did you get the link I posted for the Natasha Denona blush? in your ATN: SportyShorty07 thread? Smiley Happy

I did not see it. The mods removed the link before I saw a link.  Did you just tell me the name of the color again and the name, not link, of the website? Thanks! Too bad Dad's mind isn't what it used to be or I would tell him I thought a friend of mine thought people in an airplane could feel an earthquake.  He was a commercial airline captain. He would have got a kick out of that LOL

@monicakm  I attached the direct link and listed the name of the blush, its too bad the mods removed it, but here's the name again Smiley Happy:

I wonder why the mods removed the link- its a helpful link and isn't a scam or anything.  If you go to Natasha Denona's website and go to the search bar, if you type in the words "duo glow cheek palette" it is the only result that will come up and the color I use is called "Rayo" and the retail price is $38.  I checked and I don't see it for sale on any other sites.  Your dad would love that joke- even if you don't tell him its nice to know that he would appreciate it.  I have such respect for airline pilots- the courage, intelligence and skill it takes to operate a plane is amazing.

Thank you dear, I got it! Such a beautiful color. External links are highly frowned upon by the moderators here. Ask me how I know LOL I used to try to be helpful and informative and I got tossed out on my tush more times than I can count.

Dad:  smartest man I've ever known. I had no idea that dementia didn't care who you were, how decorated you were or how smart you were.  I know it's a devastating disease to all

  1. 😩  it's now too late to share anything with him.  On the other hand my mother has actually looked into my eyes and said my name 2 days in a row. Today she was able to (very) briefly talk to me on the phone. She was asleep for 9 days.

@monicakm  You're very welcome, dear! I'm so glad that you were able to get the Natasha Denona blush- it really is a beautiful color, you'll love it! I have two of the Natasha Denona "Rayo" color  duo glow blushes- one unopened and one in use since this blush is really special.  External links are indeed frowned upon on this forum- I once linked a fun 80's Jordach jeans commercial from Youtube in the fashion forum and it was yanked almost instantly.  I wish there was a way to private message on here, then members can send eachother Yuotube video links and makeup purchase links more easily- but I'm glad I beat the sensors and was able to tell you how to find the item without a link.  Natasha Denona's website is sometimes like a treasure hunt- sometimes you have to know the exact name or look in a hard to find category of cosmetics to find an item.   Feel free to let me know how you like it- it especially looks pretty in the sunlight and during a candlelight dinner Smiley Happy.

You are a lovely and caring daughter and I think that even if older parents cannot fully understand things said during dimentia or other illnesses, the heartfelt words are heard and treasured.  Its good to know that your mom woke up and said your name and that she can have talks with you on the phone, that is a very tender story and I'm sure your voice and words are uplifting and comforting.  Your dad sounds very brilliant and accomplished. When it comes to dimentia, memories fade and the thought process changes, but the love is still there and it is reciprocal.  You are so right about how dimentia doesn't descriminate- it can effect anyone.  My prayer is that with all of the grants and research being done on dementia that someday there will be a cure or more treatments for it.
