I only wash my hair three times a week so I usually try to freshen it up on day two with a leave in conditioner. I have tried a couple, the one most recently was by Pureology. They seem to make my hair look greasy, so I guess I need a lighter spray. What do you use to refresh your hair if you don’t shampoo every day? I’m not talking about dry shampoo for the scalp, but rather the rest of the hair to the ends.
@Natureluvr I have one of those "mister" from Amazon. I fill it 2/3 full and 1/3 with the conditioner I usually use. In between washes, I spritz it to refresh my curls or even if it's straight. I don't soak it down just enough to tousel it up and air dry.
***If wearing it straight after about 5-10 minutes of air drying, I put in several large velcro rollers for volume.

@Natureluvr the Kenra dry texture spray does work wonders for my hair which tends to go flat. However, when you add shine products that's tricky. By nature, they want to slick the hair down. This will require a separate product and whenever you use it, only use a tiny amount on the mid shaft down.

It doesn't take much to work either. You can spray for lift in the crown all the way to the mid shaft. If I used a conditioning product, it would certainly make my hair appear flat and greasy.
I use a texture spray too. There are a lot out there. I have used Nick Chavez, Oribe (expensive but works well), Calsita and a few others. They are all mostly good.

I wash my hair 3x's a week as well.
In-between I use the following foam:
Medline Remedy No-Rinse Foaming Body Cleanser
I spray it into my hand and then kind of 'shampoo' my roots all over, pulling my fingers through to the ends.
It cleans, moisturizes, and the original scent is refreshing.

I think I’ll try the Ouidad spray, too. I assume all of these sprays go on dry hair?
@Natureluvr The Ouidad one can go on either dry or wet hair. I usually use it on wet-ish hair after I've misted it with water. I've got one of those misters that I picked up at Sally's.
