Hi all! Does anyone find that the seasonal cc's work better on their hair than the core cc's? And if so, do you just use the seasonals or do you still incorporate the core cc's? I am finding that the seasonals work better on my hair, although I am still using the SAM, POM, TT, and BGT cores. I'm wondering if I should just be using the seasonals exclusively. Would love your input on what you do. Thanks!

Re: Seasonal CC's vs. Core CC's

I honestly don't find any differences between any of the formulas for my hair. So, since I prefer the seasonal scents, that is what I prefer to use. Of the core scents, the ones that I'll always have on hand are the Tea Tree and the 613. I also plan to have Wen Men as a staple - love that scent.

The rest of my supply will be seasonals. I still love Fall Ginger Pumpkin the most, followed by Spring Green Tea Gardenia.

I prefer the seasonals, (but POM is good)...I can use most any of them but like the ones with the honey complex (the exception to everything is the FAS, I love it)...My Husband uses the Core's so we even out!...

If the seasonals give you the best results, what would be your reason for using the others? If you don't have a reason, I wouldn't bother buying them.

I really like the newer seasonals for the results, but I still need the Fig for moisture. If I don't use Fig at least every third time I wash my hair, my hair gets dry. Mixing Fig with a seasonal works really well for me. I also really like Tea Tree for my scalp after I do an oil treatment.

Re: Seasonal CC's vs. Core CC's

I use one of the seasonals every time that I cleanse my hair but also use the core formulas as my 1st cleanse. I bought the December tsv in the core formulas since I find that mixing one of the core formulas with a seasonal works best for me. I alternate between the different core formulas and of course the different seasonals. Although, all of the seasonal and core formulas differ in their moisture level.

Re: Seasonal CC's vs. Core CC's

After using all formulas at one time or another over the past 3 yrs., I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the seasonals more than the core formulas. Some I like more than others. I also like BGT and 613 so my system now uses all of the above. I still keep some Fig on hand for my trips to the salon, when I get a color/highlighting service and for the first time I cleanse at home following. But on a regular basis, it's the seasonals, BGT and 613 for me.

Yes, the seasonals tend to work better on my hair and that is all I use now except the occasional mixing of fig or SAM in order to finish up the gallon we bought. I haven't tried all the seasonals but I love summer honey peach (favorite by far, works amazing on my hair) and summer mango coconut.

Thanks for all your responses! I was thinking that since the seasonals are more treatment based, maybe using them every time I cleanse (2x a week) might be too much. Have any of you found that? The cores I mentioned work on my hair, but the seasonals just take it to an even better level.

You won't know unless you try Smile Go ahead and just use the seasonals you love, and you'll know if you start to see a difference in the results. It also might be that for now using just the seasonals will work great, but that will improve the condition of your hair to the point where it does get to be too much. You can always go back to incorporating the cores if and when that happens.

Re: Seasonal CC's vs. Core CC's

I just started using Wen just over 2 months. I have dry hair but an oily scalp. I have been experimenting with the Cores. I only have 1 seasonal the WWC which I love. I have tried the TT on it's own & with WWC & also with POM. On it's own my hair was a little dry, with the WWC or POM my hair looked so much better. I like POM best & that's what it shows I need when I checked it on Chaz's site. My hair tends to get oilier faster with the SAM, looks dry with the BGT, have only used the FIG once & my hair looked pretty good. I need to try the WWC on it's own. I have been using WWC for my 1st cleanse & POM for the 2nd cleanse the most. I can't wait to try the SHP. I doubt I will be trying all the seasonals that come out. I don't know if Chaz has a TSV with the 16 oz seasonals during the summer like he had the TSV in Dec or not. If he does not he should. That would be the only way for me to try out more seasonals. I like to try them before moving onto the larger sizes. I liked the WWC so much that I have 2 AD's for the 32 oz size.
