@SilleeMee Shalimar is another classic I love. I am out of that right now, but it will be on my list of things to replace.

Always searching....!

@Harpa, I'm always searching too. I tend to go for foodie scents, I enjoy vanilla, chocolate, and caramel based ones. Lately I have amassed many fragrances in the  rollerball size. I feel I'm not spending too much money on it and may love it and buy in a larger size. I buy a lot from Sephora, they give good description of the fragrances, I take a leap of faith buying them without smelling them!

Demeter:   Clover, and New Leaf

I loved a Demeter fragrance called "Frozen Pond".  It was clean and fresh smelling. Thanks for reminding me of it.

Good evening @Leeny

I ordered my Pinrose directly from their website, but QVC actually carries Pinrose , they have been on a few times, I didn't see the show , but received emails from PInrose about them. Sephora also sells Pinrose. I also have a small sample set which I purchased from Sephora which includes Wild Child ( Gardenia) and Merry Maker (Nectarine, Grapefruit) . I originally tried the brand because they are cruelty free , but then fell in love with the fragrances. They have verry reasonable sample sets called Petal Packs (little wipes in foil packs of the differents scents.)

I love perfumes and have a huge collection but a lot of them are startint to give me headaches and sniffles and eye watering.

Lately I have switched to wearing the body sprays.  They don't last as long but they don't bother me!

Two I am really liking right now are Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden.  I don't know what the notes are --- not good at this.  But it's very light and nice for summer.

The other one is White.  I forget who makes this one.  MIght be Bill Blass, but not sure.  It is a little heavier than Green Tea but is a happy scent.

For summer I am partial to scents that have lily of the valley.  Happy by Clinique is a good one.  It does just what the name says  --- makes me feel happy!

Re: Searching For Fragrance

[ Edited ]

I am a Guerlain woman and love and wear many of them.  But my absolute favorite is Chamade. It is womanly, complex, and beautiful.  It is a gorgeous, cultivated bouquet resting on a woody and ambery base.  It reminds me of being in an elegant English manor house with the windows open to receive the delightful scent coming from the garden.  I wear it Spring and Summer.

Lightweight and summery.

Fragrances have to be that year round for me. I just tossed out a Nest Black Tulip rollerball as it had started to be unappealing to me. I don't know what it was but after it dried on my skin, the scent was too heavy on me.

I do like Nest Paradise very much though.

I've been wearing cheap stuff lately, but I have to say that I love Hypnotic Poison (Dior).  It's the kind of fragrance that draws people in.  When I smell it, I detect vanilla, almond and lilac notes most prominently.  It's not a fragrance that bashes you over the head.  I always got compliments when I wore it.  It's not too sweet and not too flowery, but delicious and feminine.

I would describe it as sexy and alluring, but also comforting.
