@CherryHugs

I use a cleansing balm to remove makeup.  Then I use my cleanser and a powdered exfoliating product. Then roughly about a thousand hydrating essences, active serums and retinol and glyoxide, finishing with a moisturizer.

I don't know what my skin would look like without Retin A and Vitamin C @CherryHugs .   I've never heard of not doing skin care.

Not using skin care increases your likelihood of seeking a dermatologist.

@beckyb1012  I love Olay products- I use the moisturizer, night cream, hand cream and face wash. Olay products are affordable, effective and fancy! 🤗

Can't use Oil of Olay products.  My mother did, but I break out every time I've tried.  I do use Olay body wash though. My mother looked her age.

I've seen news segments about how young girls are getting caught up in excess skincare and using products that are not designed for their skin and how that is messing up their skin, but nothing about mature women needing to not use skincare.  I'm somewhere in the middle.  I don't do minimal skincare, but I also don't do what I consider to be a lot.

@CherryHugs - Sorry, but I think that's ridiculous!

I just saw my dermatologist for my annual body check last week. She has always said I don't need a complicated routine.

I use an oil-based cleanser to remove my makeup at night. I sleep with a clean face. In the morning I use a cleanser, alternated with a mild rice polish scrub (Tatcha). I put on my sunscreen and let it dry, then use a primer and my makeup for the day.  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom  I don't have many steps as far as face wash products either. I do have a normal skin type & so I am told by people & my derm. that I have beautiful skin at my age of 68.

I will spend the money on  a few Tatcha skincare products. I have the Camilla Oil, like you, I love the Tatcha Rice Wash, & I only exfoliate once a wk. with Tatcha gentle face Polish. Tatcha is worth the cost because you need very little product & it lasts a long time.

Thank you all sooo much for your thoughts and replies.  I think too that some youtubes are not good information!

Plus we need to do what is right for our skin.

I dont think my skin would do well without skincare products!!  Doesnt make sense to not use skincare!

Not overdoing and using too many tho is good advice.
