Hi ladies. I can highly recommend Dimitri James, Skinn Cosmetics--lipstick color "Red Heat". It is the perfect shade. Dimitri was on Evine Live this past weekend, and he said that men love lipstick; it is eye candy for them, and then he said, "girls, if you want to catch a man's eye, put on some red lipstick". This is my favorite red lipstick.

Oh dear, I have so many. MAC Hot Tahiti and ruby Woo, Revlon Butter in Red Velvet, Arbonne Strawberry, Lipstick Queen medieval Red and Saint Red, and I have a few Wet n Wild ones (don't recall the names -- they are the long last ones in a black tube with clear lid). I don't wear red often, but I do like it, especially in summer or holidays with a simple eye. One swipe adds a lot of polish or fun to your look!

If you want a really long-lasting one, try Mac's "Lasting Lust". It's a beautiful red.

I'm a huge fan of red lips. All the above ideas are great but red is very individual to skin tone and hair color. It would be helpful to find someone with your coloring and know what their favorite red is.

I love the Julie Hewett ruby balm -like an fabulous cherry chap stick. Also clinic Angel Red was in my arsenal for a long time.

Julie Hewett is no longer on Evine line, which is sad, they had amazing deals on her stuff, and I loved her camellia oil, lipstick , the works.

I like her balms better than Lipstick Queen or Fresh- but Fresh has a very very nice red in the sugar line.

My picks are more balm than lipstick

I find two reds are wearable even if you have trouble finding one that doesn't seem "clownish" to you.

One is Clinique's Angel Red. It's soft and somewhat sheer. The other is MAC's original Viva Glam I--which is a blue-red but "browned"--which seems impossible, but it has the cool tones of a blue-red but dulled down so it's not so bright. If you apply it with a brush, it's very wearable. Some people prefer "Ruby Woo" but I find Viva Glam even more wearable.

I bought some pretty red lipstick and wore it around the holidays, it was fun.

It's Bobbi Brown's Sultry Red lipstick.

I bought that on your recommendation, and I love it!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
