That is true and it is a look I embrace.

Curly hair that is not cut short, should not look precise and  heavily controlled. 

 

The beauty of a full head of curls is in its "undoneness ".  The longer it is, the better it looks to be on the more messy side. Too much overdone structure and it would look like the old lady poodle perms of yore.

I have been growing my hair out..  Its just below my chin right now.   I'm hoping longer hair will put more weight on the curls so it looks better than it does now.
