Re: Sadly, I have to stop Epilating... 😪

I have been epilating my upper lip and was having problems with ingrown hair which created bumps and redness and thought I too would have to give up epilating...   A couple of weeks ago I found this product on Amazon and the reviews were pretty amazing so I thought why not give it a try. Oh my goodness, I am so glad I ordered it.. it is called  Kerah Lane Organice Razor, Bump and Ingrown Hair formula. It is all natural and a serum which I apply a thin layer after I epilate and it dries quickly.  So far, so good as no bumps or ingrown hairs since I started using !!  Great customer service also !  for use on legs, etc

Re: Sadly, I have to stop Epilating... 😪

I tried epilating on my face- not good. I ended put seeing a dermatologist and she told me to stop epilating. I now use the Tria all over and have no ingrown hairs, bumps etc. Pricey system but great results.

@Snoopp

I have been trying to remember the product name that the aesthetician recommended for ingrown hairs.  Thank you for mentioning Tend Skin.

My eyebrow hairs are a mixed bag from the start.  They are very similar to my dad’s.  After years of co start and aggressive tweezing, I finally got them into a decent shape.

One area at the beginning of a brow tends to have a lot of tiny ingrown hairs.  Concealer is needed to cover the “surgical” site.

Where do you find Tend Skin ?

TIA

I use to epilate my bikini area. Then the ingrowns started getting bad. I started using Neosporin right after epilating my bikini area and it took care of that problem. I finally had all of my body hair lasered away. Just tired of all the shaving and epilating, not to mention ingrowns.Woman Tongue I had my facial hair lasered away, too, but the peach fuzz is still here. I just use an electric shaver for that because I tried to epilate them and got ingrown hairs...not good.

Have you tried professional waxing?

I agree with using Tend Skin, I have epilated for years but my bikini area needs to have the Tend Skin.

After seeing the recent costs of blades I am not sure what I'd do without my epilator!

I had my legs and underarms lasered too.  Yes it was expensive but it is the smartest money I've ever spent!!!!!   Skin is flawless and never, ever have to shave.   @Skyegirl21 if you can do it, I highly recommend it.

Re: Sadly, I have to stop Epilating... 😪

When epilating a very long time ago I had the same experience.  The ingrown hair situation with the bumps and inflamation was worse looking than the hair.  And painful too.  I had to stop as well.  Shaving is, at least, pretty quick for me and should be as I've been doing it for many years..
