SUGGESTIONS FOR HYDRATING SUNSCREEN....

I'm using Neutrogena spf 60.  I also apply a moisturizer, but it's making my face feel tight and dry as the goes on.

I really liked this sunscreen because it's invisible  and not greasy.  Make up goes on just fine too, but I think it's time to switch.  I don't like anything tinted, I'm very fair,  and prefer the ones that are NOT mineral only...I've found those not as effective.   Please pass on some suggestions that may be not be so drying...thank you!!

Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR HYDRATING SUNSCREEN....

Not long ago I decided to try this Neutrogena sunscreen serum. It's the one with green tea (antioxidant). I found it to be similar to their other original Ultra Sheer sunscreen serum but with a bit more hydration, a bit too much for me so I went back to the original.

You might want to give this one a try b/c I think it would be good for dry skin types. @Dazlin

@Dazlin

Here's another one I've used and this is a hydrating gel sunscreen. I like this one a lot, too.

@SilleeMee , I'll try it...I have the Ultr Sheer with E in it.

I wouldn't think the green tea would be more hydrating...ill definitely try it. TY !

I used the skin Aqua too ...stopped for reason and now I keep it in my car for my hands...maybe more greasy.

@SilleeMee ...just been reading reviews on the one with green tea...some say it feels slippery...as much as I'd like hydration,  I really don't like anything oily, or greasy...wish I could sample it.   I'll keep it mind, but ill continue to search.  Thanks just same 🙂

'Slippery' might be a good word for it. For me it seemed to never really dry down completely so it felt sort of damp, not tacky, on my face throughout the day. Blotting it helped but then that might reduce the SPF protection somewhat.

Good luck with finding a good one.Woman Happy

SPF is always a struggle.  For whatever reason whenever I wear a high end foundation, doesn't like whatever SPF I wear.  We just muddle through, continue the search.

Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR HYDRATING SUNSCREEN....

I hope you get more suggestions because I struggle with this as well.  I have a basket full of different sunscreens for my face and I am not really happy with any of them.  I want fragrance free and moisturizing but not something that will make my face an oil slick and something that I can apply makeup over.  It's no wonder that some just get disgusted with the search and don't wear it, which is not a good thing.

Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR HYDRATING SUNSCREEN....

@AngelPuppy1 , the only other sunscreen I remember being nice was from Shiseido ...I think it was called Urban hydrating...but ill have to go back and look to be sure which one.  I believe I stopped because I got the Neutrogena original with E for my mom and I really liked the texture, feel, and the higher spf 60, etc...of course the price was great too compared to Shiseido.

I'm thinking  maybe a hydrating foundation on top might help 🤷‍♀️.
