i love my dyson.   and everyone has their own opinions, that's ok.

my problem here is making derogatory and negative comments when they haven't even tried it.  with one exception, of course.

It's the presentation that's at fault, not the product itself.

Due to the presentation, I have no interest at all. Because I noticed the fine hair, too, and it was not wringing wet. I would gladly be a model for the hairdryer to see how long it would really take! Though I towel-dry first, I have normal, but heavy hair, and when I start blow-drying, it is very wet.

It seems like one of the claims to fame w/ this dryer is how it changes temperatures. How that would be a time-saver for me, I don't know!

I've seen a few of the demos for this but they only show models with long hair.  I have mid-length hair with layers and use a round brush to dry my hair.  I'd like to see someone actually style hair, not just wave the dryer around until the long hair is dry.

I got my Dyson dryer last week and have used it 3 times so far and it dries my past shoulder length hair is about 4-5 minutes.  About 1/2 the time it would normally take me.  With my other dryer, it is about a 10-13 minute process.  I like it.

With two boys to get out the door and needing to get off to work, it is worth it to me to save any bit of time. I also found my hair softer and less frizzy.  All of my other hair care products are the same, so  I have to attribute it to the dryer.

I suppose this has occurred to some already, but if you have long thick hair that takes a really long time to dry, for goodness sakes, get a haircut and a style that is much more manageable.     Who has the time to fuss with wet hair for an hour?

My hair dresser says it works as advertised. Takes about 5 minutes to dry after you do a rough dry.  She loves it but won't recommend it to clients because of the price but she swears by it. She has been doing hair 20 years so she doesn't  praise things that lightly.  Will I buy one, no..... but don't think reviewers are lying when they say it dries hair fast.
