So, here's my story with STO. After reading many, MANY posts here about the products and some of the problems with customer service, I took a chance and put in a pretty big order on april 19th, as a mother's day gift for my mommy.
Since I ordered over $85, I got free shipping and I used my 30% off coupon so it was a really good deal and I was very happy with my choices. A few days later I get an e-mail asking for $10.50 for shipping and handling. I replied(through e-mail) that my order had free shipping because it was over $85, and they told me that because my order was outside continental US, that the free shipping order didn't apply. I was not happy with this, because when I placed my order it said free shipping to US if over $85, it did not specify it had to be continental US. They have now fixed this mistake and the website specifies that free shipping is only inside continental US. In any case, I still thought it was a good deal with the 30% off, so I paid the shipipng and handling and waited for my items to arrive.
By mother's day my items still hadn't arrived. I was NOT happy. The day after mother's day, I e-mail them and they asked me if I had paid for the shipipng and handling. I sent them the authorization number showing that I had paid by april 21st and then received an e-mail two days later telling me that my items had finally shipped.
My items arrived today....my very late mother's day gift. Neither my mom nor I have tried them yet so I can't really say if they're worth the wait or not. But I'm hoping they are. I'm not writting this post to bash STO, or to praise them, this was just my personal experience with them and I wanted to share it with you guys. The products seem like they're very good, so I hope they work for my mom and I, but the customer service does leave a little bit to be desired. Anyways, this is the list of products I got. Most of them are for my mom, but I did get some things for myself so as soon as I try them I'll post some reviews. What do you guys think of the choices?
